GM has stated 100 miles in 10 minutes! I assume that iis at 10% SOC and tolerating 350kW charging. What is the taper?

Since I anticipate the efficiency of the Hummer is probably about 1.5 that is really fast charging!

Yes but I'll bet Hummer miles take a lot more juice than Taycan miles.

If any vaporcar is the champ at DCFC, it's not a GM Hummer @350kW, it's a Lotus Evija @ 800kW.

Yes, they are projecting 350 miles with 200kWh.

Which is why I don't see it beating the Taycan in real life usage measured in time - the rate the hummer has to draw is twice as much power as the taycan just for it to be even.

An 800 VDC charging system can deliver twice the power of a 400 VDC system, yet use the same wire gage, because most automotive wiring is already rated at higher voltages. Remember the vacuum tube TV sets? They held up to 25 kV yet the wiring was very fine because the insulation is what allows the safe transport of high voltages. A 350 kW charge at 800 VDC will need over 437 amps. A higher voltage will need lesser amps and smaller wiring.

I see future GM EVs to have 800 VDC or higher battery and charging systems to allow faster charging times and lesser weight.
