The AC automatically re-enables when I start the car. I manually turn it off every trip that is warm enough. Any suggestions?

I had this bug for a few days. Then it went away and hasn’t recurred in several weeks. I’m sorry - I realize that isn’t helpful. Maybe someone else can help pin it down.

Are you using Auto setting?

It's programmed that way, and annoyingly it doesn't light the "A/C" light when it does it. My A/C compressor kicks on whenever I drop the set temperature - even after I have manually toggled A/C off on the screen, I have to turn A/C "ON" and then "OFF" again before the compressor stops.

Yes I have it set at auto, but the AC is manually turned off.
One of the features of Auto mode is the vehicle will attempt to maintain the temperature setting so it may turn on the heat or A/C if needed. If you want to force the A/C to remain off then manually adjust the fan speed. This has the net effect of disabling the Auto mode.

That should work.
