Can the cooling system for the high voltage battery cool below ambient temperature? For example if my garage is at 100° F and the vehicle is plugged in, will the car's cooling system be able to take the battery temperature down to, say 70° , if that is a better temperature for my departure? Also, if the MME is plugged in and no departure time is scheduled, will it still keep the HVB at the optimum temperature?

Yes, it has a battery coolant chiller that uses the A/C compressor.

If left plugged in it will thermally manage the battery as needed.

I'm not sure what temp the battery gets chilled to, probably 95ºF or something.
