My 2021 Premium was taken into Cochran Ford Butler on Monday and four days later (08-08-24) it isn't done. They worked on it and test drove it at least six times and each time an overheat motor warning arose on my Ford Pass. It is sitting in their garage on their L2 40 amp charger overnight. They havent even completed the two Customer service inspection- door still paint and charger cord stuck- at this time. I had no issues with the vehicle prior to Monday.

Make sure they filled the coolant system properly. There are two coolant bottles to fill, which sometimes confuses the technicians because they are used to vehicles that only have one. In some cases they forget to fill the second tank and the motors overheat as a result of no coolant or the bleed process not being run.

Thank you for the reminder. Now to recheck onthe part number. As of Friday AM, my Ford Pass account does not show this repair completed.

As of Friday AM, my Ford Pass account does not show this repair completed.
FYI the completion status of service actions in FordPass does not update instantly. It can take up to a month afterwards for a service action to disappear. Basically it's when the dealer gets around to submitting the paperwork.

Was told the over-heat messages were due to the battery being disconnected to the motor.

Driving during the weekend revealed no surprises. Dcfc at Tesla worked perfectly andwith plug and charge.
