After the I 95 pile up I have seen a few Facebook posts claiming that had more electric vehicles been on the road and ran out of electric and using the heater they would’ve been roadblocks. Does anybody have any information on how long or what the drain rate is on the battery when using the heat while stationary?

the heater uses at most around 5% per hour. so if you were at 100% battery and needed the heat 100% on. the battery would last for 18-20 hours.

In reality it probably would run for more than double that. even more so if you turned the temp down in the cabin

Multiple posts on this. Tip - Facebook has little factual information.

Settting the heat at 68, fan speed at 1, and using the heated seats, likely 40+ hours as noted.
