I can’t possibly be the only one that doesn’t like the generic “cool, medium, warm” settings for departure times.

When setting departure times, are you ok with the (in my opinion) generic “cool, warm, medium” settings, or would you prefer actually being able to designate a temperature for the car to achieve and maintain?

Because, for me, I’d rather set my car to 70° and have it decide what it needs to do to get to that temp for me.

At the very least, there should be an option to use the last setting of the climate control system.

Lastly, does anyone know what temps ”warm, medium, and cool” actually refer to?

I would prefer numbers. I accidentally chose 'warm' once and I could have baked a frozen pizza in there. Had to roll down the windows when I got in just so I could breathe.

Yes, I am OK with the generic terms. No, I don't know the exact temps but I'm not that worried about it - when I get in to drive the HVAC reverts to the temp settings I fully control

I don’t have a regular schedule. So rather than set departure times, I use remote start via the app (now thankfully available on my watch again). With the remote start set to auto it will automatically cool or heat to 70°, and surprisingly quickly.
Maybe rather than setting departure, just punch start on the app 5 minutes before you walk out the door. Could work for you.

Agree.
Also, this thread deserves attention. Can you change the thread title?

I could do that, if I could remember to push the button 10 minutes before leaving every day. But, since my departures are pretty stable time wise, I’d like to be able to tell the car to just be ready for me without direct intervention.

Hopefully departure times, like charging logic, will get better over time. Until then, I was just hoping remote start might be an acceptable work-around.

Install latest FordPass app on phone. Should be version 3.30.0. Just became available today. Then shut off your phone and your watch. Restart both. They should resync.

70/75/80 ??
Seems like it should've been easy enough to give numerical options but on the list of things to fix/implement this seems like it should be a ways down.

“Cool” feels like it’s in the low 60’s. Which is far cooler than I need the car to get. I have no idea what “warm” will be, I just need 68-72ish as long as the windows are defrosted come winter time.
