Is it just scratches or is it cracked and damaged? Looks to me like you hit a driveway, but if it's just scratches seems pretty normal. I doubt the under carriage of these cars will survive 100% unscathed without hitting at least a couple of steep driveways or dips.
I used to have a lowered '92 mustang so I'm used to pulling into driveways sideways, I have to do it with my Fusion too and I'm going to have to do it with the Mach E when I get mine. Just par for the course.
