If EV's didn't exist, what car would you have instead of your Mach E?

Would have not bought anything. I got the MME because of the $7,500 tax rebate and A/Z-Plan pricing and thought if I did not like it, I can always sell it and not lose any money. But now that I have it, wow, am I glad I got it. The MME paid for itself in about 18 days just from the savings I am realizing not driving what was my daily driver - F350 Dully - that gets about 5 gallons to the mile :). Love my truck, but the MME is a blast to drive and I still have some of fuel in the F350 (treated) from July of last year went I got my MME. Drive the truck when I need to tow the heavy stuff and top off the tank to keep it full.

We have it already as our secondary vehicle. It's a 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

Good question. Our lease was up on the 2018 Fusion Energi, so we bought it out to sell it. It was a lousy traveling car due to no room in the trunk, but had great efficiency and low mileage. Likely would have kept it because had no pressing need for a car, but the Mach-E was out and we were retiring so timing was right. Now we're waiting for the Explorer EV, which is 2025 vs. 2023 previously - due to the success of the Mach-E.
My exact situation...18 Energy lease expiring. Bought it out and sold it while on the waiting list for my Mach-E.

Loved my 18 Fusion Energy, but the 3 yr lease was expiring. I bought out the lease and sold it, but would have kept it if the Mach-E were not available. What a great decision it was to get the Mach-E, my favorite car by far of the over 50 I have owned.

Honda Pilot or Lexus ux250h or Porsche Macan.
Put 120k on an 03 Pilot...was a super useful kid hauler and long trip vehicle.
Lexus ux250h... Own a 2020 but it mostly sits as our MME GTPE is the short and long trip 1st choice. ux250h is a Prius AWD drivetrain in a mini SUV, a full EV ux250 would be a winner. Quiet, well built, excellent handling and ride. Just missing full EV power...
Macan handling is unreal. Almost Boxster/Cayman level. EV is coming.
