IFTTT support?

I know there is currently no IFTTT support in FordPass. However, it would be good to be able to precondition vehicle via IFTTT. I personally have a Flic button that do all the away actions like thermostat away mode/start Roombas/turn off thermopot, so it would be gread to add vehicle precondition.
I have applied for a Ford developer account to do the IFTTT integration myself, but there is no answer for couple of months.

I just say "hey Google tell FordPass to start my car".

I also added it to the "hey Google I'm going home" routine which also tells me about the commute traffic.

You should look into Home Assistant if you really want IFTTT or other integrations. There is a working FordPass integration there.

I too would like IFTTT or Google HOME integration. Didn't know about the Google assistant integration, but I find that assistant integration isn't quite as useful as Google home integration. I have the same issue with MyQ (garage door), as they charge for IFTTT and the assistant integrations are cumbersome for me.

Maybe that link is US specific but you can link the vehicle a different way?

"Ok Google, ask FordPass to tell me my charge status."

I'll watch out for your car when I'm on the island next month. Try Android - ford skill. Home assistant is fun to play with if you're into that.

There isn’t native IFTTT integration, but someone on Reddit was able to get the URLs to make Siri Shortcuts work. I’ve tried it and I even built custom ones for range and charge status. You may be able to adapt those to IFTTT.

I don't know what that is? Do I need an Alexa for that? I've got an entire house full of Google Home devices and speakers. ? but no Alexa here.

You can get Alexa on your cell. But the commands are still a pain.
Purple will be interesting.
