11/15: Kirkland/Seattle Ford. WA.

Infinite blue, premium, extended range.

First impressions
  1. Hardly anyone around to see, or any of the employees in dealership cared this was on display nor bothered to come speak to us or show more.
  2. Merch is not Mach E based but only Ford.
  3. Cool looking, good paint finish, audio, prompts, alert sounds are excellent.
  4. Same notes about center console dial, feels cheap due to it being plastic and weak. I thought it could break easily.
  5. Range showed 200mi at 100%, due to the heated seats, climate and heated steering being the only use.
  6. No test driving or ride along.
  7. Trunk space felt a bit small. Or trunk floor area is same as a 2020 mustang fastback. I.e. number of grocery bags you can place without stacking.
  8. Interior feels premium vs tesla, no new car smell (toxic fumes) which is great. This car had 1500mi on it.
  9. Frunk had weird partitioning, not sure if that can be removed to use it like frunks in tesla. Would love to use it to put a duffle bag or so.
  10. Cup holders felt smaller than my 2016 mustang.
  11. Rear view can be easily blocked if you stack up trunk.
  12. Not enough trunk space for a dog.
  13. Seats folded it does have lots of space.
  14. The glass roof is tall, dint hit my head, im 6'2".
  15. Comfy center seat due to no drive train hump in between for the feet.

Not enough trunk space for a dog.
Clearly you must have a really big dog. Our 40# Australian Cattle Dog fits fine in the back of our Leaf and the space in the back of the Mach E is much larger.

I have thought about taking her to one of these to let her try it but not sure how they would feel about a dog jumping in and out of the back.

Thanks for all the great pix.
I was there for about 45 mins Friday, and went back early Sat morn w/ my family.
I am VERY excited, and very much appreciate what I’ve now read was a concerted effort on the part of F.o.K. to facilitate this showing.

It was quite nice to be able to just poke and prod around the Mach-e.

Another guy whom has ordered a FE pointed out the cargo cover was broken on the part that held it up on the left side, I wonder if that part will be beefed up a bit, or if it is a function of a few too much handling by folks who might not quite know how it detaches.

Thanks again for all the great photos, no need for me to add any that I took as they are carbon copy

Went over to two of our PDX dealers and nothing. Seems odd since PDX is EV hotspot in US. There's an EA 8 charger setup in the mall parking lot down the hill from Landmark Ford.

For those of you paying close attention, the top panel on the right side of the frunk comes off so that you have access to the 12V + and - jump points. Given the AGM battery included, you'll likely never need this, but good to know they're there if needed.

When I was there on Saturday, they had a 12V charger connected to the battery, not sure why. I'm wondering if somebody thought they could charge the 400V battery that way. I see in the picture above that they later have the charge cable connected. I could see the electronics on top of the motor under that panel, as seen from a better viewpoint here:

They've done that at a lot of appearances. Probably just to prevent the 12-volt from being drained. If the car is off and people are constantly opening doors, power liftgate, etc. it will drain.

Thanks for the info. Do you think a gallon jug of wiper fluid will slide into one of the partitions of the frunk? Tight would be good to keep it from bouncing around.

Flat jug: yes.
Round jug: probably not.

Round: No

Canadian version above, no round that I know of here, it is rectangular in shape 3.79 L. If it fits in snug I will be a pro-divider ;) . One less thing to worry about bouncing around. Looks like it will go mid-back no problem?

Edit: Did not realize the double post and just read the 2nd one @ first. Thkz CC 👍
