I'm no expert, but I believe metallic has metallic flakes in it. The tri-coat is a three-layered process that gives the paint more depth. So the three "premium" colors: Rapid Red, Star White, and Infinite Blue have different descriptions of what they are: red and blue are metallic tinted clearcoat and the white is metallic tri-coat. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two as well as the "standard" paint?
