But it isI take mine to a regular automated car wash even though it’s heresy on this board. I’ve done that with all my cars and any swirl marks have not been a problem for me.
Over the past 4yrs or so I've become quite the fanatic as far as trying to keep my cars' paint nice, and I have not once gone to an auto car wash since. I bought one of those Worx battery operated "pressure washer" to rinse the car in the winter, and then wipe down with Chemical Guy's waterless wash. No swirls on the cars. Plus the MME's paint *seems* to be pretty tough as far as resisting fine scratches from drying. I was even crazy enough to run my electric pressure washer in the middle of winter, when my outside hose bib is not completely frozen. Couple of times the foam from my foam cannon froze instantly on the car ?
