It's unaffected. It operates off of the hands-on lane centering (assist 2.0)
Does it turn off the steering wheel nanny when in use?

My car doesn't have the face nanny, which I would absolutely hate. That is why I am glad I don't have BC. I believe it nags even when not using BC.

On another note, what is the expected behavior when you don't have the C3X plugged in? Mine seems to not behave entirely stock when I leave it unplugged. I will have to try it again to remember exactly what was missing but I believe BC could not be activated. Would that be normal?
Should be completely stock, but the error that affects lightnings might actually affect Mach E with the comma unplugged but Comma power plugged in.

Yes

It has it's own driver monitoring nanny which is much more reasonable than the Ford one.

Sorry for all the questions.

I regularly log my trips using a OBDII reader and the CarScanner app. I assume since this occupies the OBD port I would be unable to connect CarScanner?

it should.
Just tried it and it doesn't. It does adaptive cruise control but BC can't be activated and no lane departure is active either. No warning lights come on. I don't feel like this is a major concern as I'm going to have the C3X all the time but when it needs to go in for service it's going to behave weird unless I remove the adapter.

You can use an ODB2 port splitter. The Comma also logs every canbus signal while you are driving, it might provide more useful than what you are using now (although probably not as user friendly)

Did you make sure that those options are not just turned off in the settings menu? If you received any OTAs since you installed the Comma it could have reset the preferences.

Get a Y that has the means to go back into the factory port so that the Y'n happens behind the plastic and is zip'd up leaving you with your factory location as is. Very convenient.

I hate that I didn't think of this...lol. I will try that this afternoon. Thank you!

So this update is just confirming that I’m an idiot. The settings remained on but I just had to push the little lane keeping button on the steering wheel to turn it back on. It behaves as it should with the C3X unplugged.

Don't worry, we won’t tell your spouse.

Cable routing I basically didn't care about as I just ran it under my floormats. I used double-sided tape to hold it along the A-pillar trim. I'm not going to lie it looks pretty bad but I have no desire to try and get it to look pretty.
Can you post a pic of how you did the routing? I have it running along the left of the car, but I don't have enough slack to get under the mats. How are you exiting the IPMA area into the cabin?
