I’m still in the honeymoon phase of enjoying the attention. It still turns heads everywhere I go because there are so few where I live. I’ve still only seen one other in the wild even though I know there’s a couple more out there.
LOL by the time I get mine, nobody will care any more. ?

I was driving down the interstate and this car blows past me. All of a sudden I see him slam on his brakes to slow up along side me and take a look. I see him staring over at the car and I can read his lips "WHAT IS THAT?!?!" with a big smile. The kid in the back has his mouth wide open. Pretty funny.

I had a local utility serviceman ring the doorbell and inquire about our MME sitting in the garage (the garage door was open). Said he observed the Pony Emblem driving by and knew it was not a regular Mustang. Took the time to show him the car and he was blown away, Later told me he owned a 2015 Mustang but loved the MME. After he left I closed the garage door and it stays closed now.

So this just happened. My wife left for the gym, and about 5 minutes later, the driveway Ring went off. I thought, she's been sitting in her car this whole time??? So I brought up the video and someone was looking my car over in the driveway ? Opened it full-screen and it was a neighbor of mine out on a walk. I guess backing it in draws attention to that mean-looking front end.

Looks like Sandy Munro!

Yes the wife gets asked All the Time about the car. It's been in the garage for the last 7 days as it's dirty and I feel obligated to have it clean when she's driving as so many people gaze and ask her about it.

Last week we were a few cars back at a light and the lane next to us started going then this guy, stops his car, and his lane of traffic, to roll down the window and tells us he loves the car, and how do we like it? It was awkward as his lane of traffic was just stopped until we started moving. We wanted to be polite, but had to pull away and the guys staying next to us shouting questions! We are very impressed with the car ourselves and as a 5 time 5.0 Mustang owner, I've no problem calling it a Mustang. only had one guy say, 'Yeah, but they shouldn't have called it a Mustang!'. No hate, just opinion! It's still a relatively Free country, so sure, people are free to say what they want but so far 95%. positive. We'll see if our Bronco gets more attention. 28 June build date!

I've have had nothing but positive reactions to my MME so far. I'm used to lots of attention associated with riding my streamlined motorcycle. The MME doesn't draw the same level of attention but it does draw a lot of looks and reactions. My favorite reactions are people flagging you down before you drive away so that they can ask you about it. One was a traffic cop. Mostly they love the looks of the MME and some are shocked that it is electric. I've probably sold a few!

We had ours sitting in the driveway when a windows salesman rang the doorbell "I see you don't need windows but is that the new Mustang?" LOL

Yeah if I want some attention I'll leave it out on the driveway while mowing and occasionally someone will remark about it (which is even more notable since we live on a court and don't get much "outside traffic") and live in Ford country where Mach-E sightings are quite frequent.

Had a Pool party for the daughter's Birthday. Put the happy birthday sign out front so folks had an easier time finding the house. Had a knock on the side gate and the dad with two small girls is asking "is this Olivia's party?" Nope wrong party. "So how do you like the MachE?"

I also have a 2019 GT, so I joined the Mustang Club of America FB group a while back. The “Not a Mustang” yammering and disparaging comments on the Mach E are non-stop. Big contrast to the almost daily comments and questions I get while I'm out and about... all positive.
I have a friend that chatters non stop about it not being a mustang or sports car. I simply said "when it drops your ass at a light ( in his mustang GT) remember what you said now".?

I dont know is it a "SOCAL" things? So far I didnt get any reactions from people down in San Diego. which I prefer this way.

I think it's a SoCal thing. I live in a suburb of L.A. and electric cars are a dime a dozen and lower cost cars (which a Mustang is) don't get much notice. On my street alone, of the 10 homes there are 6 electric cars (4 Tesla, one Audi and my Mach E). So, a Mustang Mach E is just an everyday car here.

Maybe different where you are, but up here in the outskirts of Portland Oregon I get a few looks and had a couple questions/comments, but def not the level of attention a lot of you are reporting.
I live near Portland also, and I have been getting quite a lot of reactions from people, including people taking pictures of it to send to relatives.

We also live in Southern California, and it still gets a fair bit of attention. People checking it out in parking lots, stopping to ask about it, flashing thumbs up out their windows, etc. I am a little surprised since there’s no shortage of nice cars around Southern California, but there’s a lot of excitement still.

Plenty of onlookers here. Like Regular Car Reviews said about another car, it makes you become a people person.

So far the most people I've had crowd were 4 at a liquor store when I made a quick run to get wine. 3 came over, one stopped his car and got out to ask questions.

Today leaving a hotel had an onlooker who was looking around it / the ChargePoint it was plugged into.

Asked if it was fully EV, was looking around - mentioned his nephew had the model Y. Looked and it was a MY with the same blue + 20' rims I had on order before they removed radar. That's a big no.

Had to take girlfriend's Leaf to movies this weekend... Wasn't trying to bring it to the opening night of F9.

Went to the local DMV in small town Illinois to get it registered since I bought it in Indiana. As I parked, a van drove by and a guy yelled “sweet car man!”. Then it took me an extra 30 minutes at least because every single worker and person in the DMV had to go outside and look at it and ask questions. One even drove it around the parking lot. I ended up having to go back because the system went down in the middle of them processing my temporary plates. When I walked in they had apparently given me the nickname “mustang man” because they yelled “mustang man is back!”. Was entertaining to say the least and probably the best DMV experience I’ve had.

I was recently stopped by police for supposedly speeding. When he approached he immediately said he was only going to give me a warning. After checking my license/registration he came back to the car and spent the next 10 minutes asking me all kinds of questions about the Mach E. He wants a GT. Wondered when they were coming out. I swear he really stopped me to check out the car and ask questions. I might have been going a little bit over but this was mostly a curiosity stop:)
