IPC Lag...PAAK related?

Picked up my new Mach-E today. Drove around (with the fob) without an issue for a while, got home, and set up the PAAK. A couple hours later, I took my son out for a drive using the PAAK (no fob), and we noticed the IPC was super laggy. The speed was totally inaccurate and jumping all around. When I engaged the turn signal, I could here the click click indicator but the arrow wouldn't light up on the IPC, or would show as a solid arrow several seconds later, after the signal was already off.

I restarted the car, and did a reset of the sync screen with the steering wheel buttons, but that didn't seem to solve it.

I took the car out again an hour later WITH the fob this time, and all was fine.

Has anyone else noticed this sort of issue? I wonder if it is PAAK related...Will do some more testing tomorrow.

It seems super unlikely this is associated with PaaK, but hey maybe... I suppose anything's possible.

In my 28 months of ownership, I've seen my IPC do this sort of slow/unresponsive thing exactly one time, earlier this year. It happened halfway through a drive while I was on a highway. Except in my case the IPC restarted on its own maybe 30 seconds after it started being weird, and then it was fine.

It was a bit freaky seeing the IPC restart while driving at highway speeds. When it boots back up, the speedometer quickly animates from 0 to your current speed. Pretty cool to see.

I don't know of any way that you can restart your IPC other than temporarily disconnecting the battery or fuses.

Drove today using PAAK and had no IPC issues. So I guess that wasn't related.

Having your IPC restart on the highway would definitely be freaky!
