Hello,

I am trying to pay attention to the details provided in the Ford pass app after my car has completed charging. In the coming month I hope to calculate the electrical cost of charging the vehicle.

On some occasions I have noticed the app told me it charged 68 KWH. I thought this was the total capacity of the standard range MME. I typically come home with 45-50% charge and I only direct the car to charge to 90%. How can it charge a full batteries worth of charging when it was not at zero?

I am curious if the app is giving me bad data or I am missing something.

Any thoughts / recommendations.

Thanks

Probably not missing anything. FP is buggy.

68 kWh seems high. I have an ER and charge from 40% to 80% for 37 kWh. It should charge about 3 miles per kWh. My 37 kWh gave me 110 miles. Did your 68 kWh give you 210 miles?

Indeed and FP isn't always accurate with its reporting.

When this happen it reported 91 miles added. Which was about right for my round trip commute.

I wouldnt believe the FP app. I have a chargepoint home charger and they always are very different results -- I tend to believe only the CP

My numbers look believable. 3 mile per KWh. Maybe I’m just lucky.
