Inside of the EVSE looks ok, but the plug is toast. The plug has snow on it because it was outside of the NEMA 14-50 enclosure overnight.

Ugh, that plug…

I just got mine back from Sentry. They say they couldn’t find anything. And tested the 12V - they say it’s fine, at 71% SoC. They gave it a few software updates. Hmm.

Well, it finally happened. Full-fledged SSN when turning the vehicle on yesterday morning, and an overnight "Charge fault". Sentry couldn't give me a better estimate than "2-3 weeks" before they could look at the vehicle. McGovern in Saugus can apparently look at it next Monday, possibly earlier. Tow truck on the way now.

Secondarily to this, I noticed that our Grizzl-E's status light was no longer on. Took a look at the NEMA 14-50 outlet and found THIS. Could the MME do this??? I have not yet opened up the Grizzl-E to see if the insides are intact. This did NOT trip the circuit breaker.

That was caused by using a cheap outlet. You’ll need a new outlet and cord. Bad electrical can cause charge faults.
