Isn't Ford meant to be providing status updates every 45days?

Back on 7/1 I received an email from Ford saying:
"Now here’s our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle’s production schedule status. No matter what."

Its been over 45 days, and no word whatsoever from Ford.

Has anyone (who does not have a scheduled build date) received anything?

Doesn't even meet it's FIRST self-imposed deadline. I really hope the car is better than their communication about it.

I also received this message about my order on 7/1, and haven’t heard anything within the promised 45 day window. @Ford Motor Company may want to look into this.

I’ve waited 10 months and had maybe 1 or 2 material / useful updates. This 45 day stuff is hilarious.

This is what happens when you make a promise on something that you haven't actually given one thought yet to how you would follow through. No excuse, but it happens all the time in business projects. It's a sign of a systematic project management failure.

The positive side of it is, due to the inaction, they can simply send the same message again and it will still be appropriate as it was the first time they sent it.

Well I didn't even get the email that stated I'd get an email every 45 days My last email was over 4 months ago and I only found out my production date was scheduled because I checked the website.
