Ahh, thanks for the info!

Personally I prefer the black interior, so I might wait on this one...but it's SO tempting! Regardless, this will make someone very happy!!
I was worried about getting the light seats but, now that I have them, I like my decision! Usually just me or one other person in the car (4 adults on occasion) so not too worried about keeping them clean and they sure seem sturdy.

The fit and finish on this car is amazing! If it drives as well as it looks, I will have found my dream car for now.
"FOR NOW"?!?!?

I have exactly the same model ordered myself, but there has been absolutely no updates since I placed the order a month ago. I'm giving them one more month to make some advance and then giving up and getting a Tesla.
Ha-ha-ha... Not sure why do you have such an expectation. I ordered my MME in October and I do not expect any updates on build date for at least couple of months (maybe even more). As I understand, people who are getting vehicles right now, ordered it in June-July 2020, and some of them still do not have it, btw. If you expect your order (or build info order) in a month, you shouldn't even waste your time and order Tesla without any hesitation.

Congrats!! Hopefully mine is getting close. Palsapp updated mine same as you, the 6th. Still shows good destination and destination name, Russ Milne in Chesterfield, MI, status still shows pending, not sure if that means on its way or pending leaving KC still. ?
For mine, "pending" changed to "Dispatched," and two days later it arrived at my dealer.

I know there has already been a lot posted so let me just list a few of my subjective observations after driving the car for 55 miles today in temps that ranged from -2 to 8 F.
  • The look and feel are great.
  • Seats and the entire cabin are very comfortable and attractive.
  • The view from the driver seat is very good.
  • The ride is quiet. You can definitely hear bumps but road and wind noise are very minimal even at 80.
  • The ride and steering feel very controlled. This rides firmly. It is a not like a soft luxury car ride. Big bumps are felt but dampened. It can rock a bit over uneven surfaces but control is solid. The ride is much better than my ex-Bolt.
  • I am not a qualified audiophile but the B&O sound system sounds great to me.
  • Visibility out of the car is very good.
  • Headlights are excellent and the auto setting works well.
  • I absolutely love having the driver's screen right in front of the steering wheel. It is placed nicely.
  • The big screen is responsive. There are some minor delays in some instances but, to be honest, I don't notice them unless I am looking for a delay.
  • Before I got the car, I deleted it from my FordPass, discarded FordPass and reinstalled it. When I got the car, I launched FordPass, scanned the bar code in the door jamb to add the car and that worked well. FordPass connected easily.
  • All of the setup I did at the dealership went very well. Setting profiles, preferences, were all straightforward. Adding my phone (iPhone 12 Pro) was extremely easy. Creating Phone As Key was easy and flawless. Setting up wireless Apple CarPlay took about 30 seconds and works flawlessly.
  • The AWD is the best AWD I have had in a car or SUV. I drove part of the day on snowy roads and the traction and control were great.
  • Adaptive cruise control was flawless.
  • This sucker is quick.
  • Most of the day, I have left the key fob at home and used PAAK. It has never failed me but there seem to be times when there is maybe a one second delay before the door will open when I push the button. I will evaluate this more over the coming days.
  • The last trip I made was at night with resistive heat on, steering wheel heat on, seat heat on. In other words, I made myself comfortable. I spent about 1.5 hours with the car running. During that time, I drove 35 miles and sat the rest of the time (with heat and lights, etc. on) playing with various settings, reports, etc. I drove most of that trip at an average of 35-45 mph. About 20% of trip was at 60 or above with max at 80. For this 35 miles, the temp ranged from 1-5 F. Analysis showed 2.3 miles/kWh. 2.3*88=202.4. Later this week, I will do some drives where I do not sit around to get a better idea of range in cold weather with all the heat on. This very rough first try was satisfactory to me.
  • There are a few things I have not yet figured out (I do not feel these are as intuitive as the rest of the car). How the heck do you turn off the very annoying "School Zone" alerts? This sucker goes off about every two minutes for me in town. Can't figure how to specify/save my home address as "Home" in the built in Nav system.
  • I am learning that a lot of people who blow their horn at me are smiling instead of pissed. Lots of thumbs up from people.
  • That's it for now. If I can get a good long attempt at assessing range, I will post it here. Should be good cold weather testing since the high for the next week here will not go above 10 F.

You ordered in January of 2021 and were expecting updates by now? I reserved in 2019, ordered in June 2020, and my ETA isn’t until April.

As I mentioned earlier, my dealer has been great without any of the distasteful stuff that many on the forum have used to describe their dealers. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. My sales guy said it is okay to share his contact information. Just tell him Randy sent you. His name is Geoff Boyer and he is at Middleton Ford in Middleton, Wisconsin ([email protected]). As a reminder, he will soon have an Infinite Blue Premium AWD ER with protection package mats and a light grey interior to sell. It is the second car I ordered but will not be needing. It had a 1/24/21 build week. Probably built but not yet listed as shipped. They will do X -Plan pricing if you are eligible.

Pull up the Navigation screen and at the bottom left is a "settings" button if I remember correctly. In the settings there you'll find a ton of alerts that the nav system can do (including "School Zone").
