3.5.3 no probs here. Never got 3.5.3.3 but can enable alexa if I wanted to. I do not. You get her for 3 years free but like XM if you never register you most likely will not get bugged as much. Not sure if Alexa replaces the Ford voice recognition or it is in addition? I am pretty loyal to my AI and siri and I are doing fine. Have never used ford nav or voice recognition and never intend to. Siri and google maps are both free and I am already subscribed. With three voice recognitions in the car it is starting to feel a bit crowded. ;)
I think 3.5.3 is part 2 of 3.5.2 so when I accepted 3.5.2, that authorization apparently included 3.5.3 because it installed all by itself. :(

I use the native nav as much as a dozen times per day. Love it. Best nav that I have ever had. I also use the native voice commands. Not as much but once or twice per day. Works fine. I don't need or want Alexa either.

Yes. 3.5.4. They've been coming pretty regularly over the last 2 weeks.

It has been a couple months since I received 2.7.4. I have received the recall OTA, POPA, and CHG since then, but nothing to get me any closer to BC or streaming on the center screen.
Small positive: they added Job 1.5 cars to the key fob CSP. 🤷🏻

You have to go through a register/connect for it to activate I think so just don't do that and no harm no foul.

We will see when that nav subscription rolls in if free google will do. Those welders are always making too much money of our sites ;).

Ford Engineering has asked me to provide a list of cars (by VIN) that are not receiving the numeric OTA updates and a list of similar cars that are receiving the updates. For anyone who is willing to provide that data, please PM me the following:

1. VIN
2. Year/Model/Trim (i.e. 2021 Premium AWD Extended Range)
3. OTA experience to the best of your knowledge (i.e. stuck at 2.7.4, received 3.5.3, haven't gotten one in 6 months, etc.)

If I can pull together a list of several Job 1 cars, that may help the engineering team identify the problem.

3) On 3.5.4 as of 10/21, and have regularly received updates; I have a slew of other updates that the dealer needs to perform, but all of the "normal" OTA updates seem to be coming through within 24 hours of less of me seeing posts about them here

Many thanks to all who have reached out. I have sent along the data to the Ford Escalation Manager, including separate lists of cars in the "stuck at 2.7.x" group and the others who are successfully receiving the recent updates. I will post again in this thread when I hear back.

Have not had any normal updates since the spring, have only been getting priority updates like the recall and DC fast charging curve. June 2021 CR1. This seems to be an issue affecting mostly job 1s. Hopefully you get a solution from the escalation manager. Many thanks

Jan 21 Build Premium AWD EX, delivered Apr 2021. Was stuck on 1.7.1 for long time. Once fixed on 3.5.4 not in EA. Updates have been coming regularly. Got recall OTA, BC OTA, Alexa OTA. All installed and activated without any issues.

Today I had a big SYNC update at the Ford dealer (Job 1 car).
It's a 15 GB download and I don't think that such massive updates are deployed via OTA. In fact it includes more functions of previous OTA versions all together, including some received lately in US (I am in EU). I was on OTA 2.7.4 plus FXA and POPA releases until yesterday.
The main changes are:

- SYNC version 22228 rev. 539
- Full screen Android Auto and A/C switch on display

- New games in a new page, including Double Sum that was never mentioned before

Anyway no Frunk command on display yet, even if it already works with the key FOB button.

Update...

The Ford Escalation Manager reached out early this morning. She is working with the OTA engineering team to identify a path forward for all if the vehicles that are stuck at the 2.7.x BlueCruise series of updates. She confirmed that all subsequent updates are held up pending the BlueCruise update. Not anything we didn't know, but good to get confirmation.

I expect a follow up by Thursday to identify next steps.

I know others have tried to work through Ford Customer Sevice on this issue and not had success, but I remain optimistic. She had been very responsive to date, so fingers crossed that progress is made this week.
