Sheehy in Maryland had one that I bought when they did the recall programming. It was comically expensive but the wife stopped complaining, which made it worth the price.

Two FE’s, 4 key fobs. Check.

The most important detail though of all was left off. What color? The cars, not the key fobs. ;)
Ha. Hers is Grabber Blue. Mine is Carbon Grey.

General question for the group: has anyone checked cost with a locksmith for the fob and/or programming? Likely cheaper than a dealer and at least here in the Phoenix area they will come to you.
I used a local certified auto locksmith that was recommended by carandtruckremotes.com from which I bought my two extra fobs. He had to use his OEM box from Ford and the official software he was certified to use. He charged me $100 total to program two fobs. Apparently, the certification process is fairly rigorous and includes security background checks.

Glad to hear Ford isn't just slinging the necessary HW/SW out there willy nilly.

So my dealer promised me a second key fob when I asked for one. That was three months ago. Got the car and he says the fob is "on backorder". He probably did not order it until car came in, but that is another issue. Anyone have any luck finding these things?
I purchased my FE a few days ago, went back to the Dealer for a battery charge the next day, and the Service Department made me a second key that day when I asked for it. Availability at a Dealer does not seem to be an issue - at least for me.

No - that looks like a key blank, not a fob.
IIRC, you need a key blank when you get a fob from Ford. Car & Truck remotes price includes the blank with the fob???
Correct. But carandtruckremotes.com sells the key blank for $8.95.
