I successfully updated the Ford Power-Up software that was issued August 6. (I have a 2021 MachE "Select") I then plugged my car into my home house current and it began charging with a target of 100%; I had set the target at 65% prior to the update. I then went into the Setting > Charging menu to restore my setting prior to the update and was unable to specify charging locations and target levels -- it was grayed out. I got an error message that said I had to charge at a location before I could set targets or times for that location. But I just HAD been charging for several hours at that location. I tried unplugging and resetting, replugging in and resetting, all possible maneuvers that I could think of, but the "charging locations" line was continuously greyed out.

Is this a glitch, or am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Posted many times.

Charging locations wiped out by the update. Charge for 5 or so minutes. Unplug. Save location as Home and redo limits and hours, and check to use schedule, not charge when plugged in.

But the "Charging Locations" line is grayed out! Isn't that where I am supposed to save the location? Impossible to follow these directions.

I'll certainly try that, as I've got no choice. Has this been a common complaint?

Yes it has unfortunately. Go plug in your MME and reset your charging preferences from the car first; I found going that route forces FordPass to recall your locations if you had them previously saved. It also may require you to tweak and then adjust your options to get them all back as you had them originally… Hope this helps!

It took almost 24 hours before my car could take charging locations again. Give it a bit and it will return.

Misery loves company as the exact same thing happened to me except I cannot see that the Powerup update was added. I tried to re-enter "Home" without luck both in the charging settings and the navigation settings. Have you found a solution?

People tell me to give it 24 hours or so, so that's what I'm doing.

I just have given it about 16 hours and it still lists the wrong address in Shorewood. I set a Garage1 location and this at least let me charge at a preferred level. The address in Ford Pass is at least on my block now but not my exact address. I cannot reset my “Home” address to the correct one; it still says Shorewood.

What a pain! I'd expect the Ford engineers who monitor this site to have jumped in by now.

Agree! I sent the Ford rep on this board a request for help so hopefully they will have suggestions on how to return things back to the way they were.
