The service department really seems to know what they're doing. I had a major issue with the cooling louvers. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and painlessly.

More like a truck Stop, don't expect a fancy waiting room, but they get you in and out quickly. Fixed the HVBJB without problems. Get me in the say day that the error popped up.

There was no ADM or high pressure to buy crap like extended warranty and the like.

Seemed very honest and I have had no issues. The GM seems like a very nice honest person. It is like finding a Unicorn.

Koons Baltimore Ford swings the best deals. It's a high volume/high inventory store which lets them sell for less. Check 'em out.

Like any other dealer, Koons Baltimore Ford wants all who enter to leave with a car. For those who don't buy, Koons doesn't slam the door. They don't want anyone leaving angry, insulted, or disappointed. Why? - these folks often change their mind and return straight Koons.

Price Ford

Sales dept was great to work with. Shelby, the Sales Manager, let me do a 24hr test drive of a Mach-E, which is what sealed the deal for me.

I have no experience with the Price Ford service dept.

My CR1 is currently at the Pierre Ford service dept in Lynnwood, WA waiting for a diagnosis. They took it without an appointment, as the problem started while I was traveling in the area. I am hoping my experience is as good as others in this thread have already stated.

With four Ford delaers within a half hours drive, the closest one, Porter Ford is by far the best! Got my MME at a discount, they honored X plan, and thats just the sales side!
I have been to the service department numerous times over the past twenty years (this is my fourth new Ford from them) and the MME only been there twice, once for a warranty side window replacement, and just recently for my 10K service. They handled the tire rotation and checking and topping up any fluids that were necessary and even installed a new cabin filter for just the cost of the filter itself. Not only did they do the 10k they also did the two software CSP's and ordered the parts for the e-brake recall that I was'nt even aware of.

I know I am one of the lucky few who can safely say I trust my dealership to do right by me!

internet sales team was great, they found a tiny scratch at the bottom of my bumper(black section) and they didn’t want me to take delivery until they fixed it, and the service has been great one the last 1.5 years. Domingo Naranjo is my service guy and he is great And the service techs that I have talked to were also very helpful. No games here. Just a good dealer.

Glad to hear they helped you. When I lived in Cleveland they quickly became my least favorite service department. Maybe they’ve improved some in the last couple years.

I was just on another thread and some of the owners were saying we should name the dealers that did us right instead of just slamming the bad ones .
So post the names of the dealers where you had a positive experience so other members who may live near you can take the recommendation under consideration.
It might be a good idea to post the issue that the dealer took care of for you so if its a big repair (HVBJB or windshield recall ) the rest of us can pick and choose which dealer might be better to address the issue
When I lived in the Detroit area, Pat Milliken Ford was my go-to for sales and service. I live in Central IL now and bought my MME GT from Mike Murphy Ford in Morton. I’m an A/Z plan purchaser and they handled that completely by the book with no shenanigans or attempted shenanigans. Pretty low-pressure on the financing/warranty stuff. My wife had her Explorer serviced there and prices seemed reasonable for that too. Haven’t had the MME in yet but at the rate I’m driving I’ll have it in for the 10K sometime this spring.

Five Star Ford Lewisville - I didn't purchase my MME there as they didn't have any at that time, but my son did purchase an Escape there and it was a great experience. I have had my MME serviced there and they have an EV tech there who knows his stuff.
Five Star Ford Richland Hills (DFW) was fantastic too. Zero markups, zero upsell, and this was May of 21 too, when MME were gold.

I've only had my CR1 just over 4 months and 12,000 miles, so can more comment on the shopping experience (no pressure, no ADMs, they offered all Ford bonus cash incentives available without prompting, and they managed to sell other MMEs but not mine for a month and a half until I could claim it), but the first 10,000 mile service was free, quick, and easy. Also, they sent staff with an F150 Lightning and an E-transit van to a Drive Electric Week event in 2022, to educate and offer demo rides, which is why I bought my car from them instead of one of the nearby dealerships.
I just might have to drive the hour to see these folks. My own dealership in Exeter, NH isn't necessary terrible but they certainly don't come across as all warm and enthusiastic about EV stuff either. In fact, during my HVBJB replacement, I got the distinct feeling I was a nuisance 😕. Sorry my MME doesn't provide you with high margin service. I'm still a customer that bought a car from you.

California - Galpin Ford in North Hills. My wife has been a customer of Galpin for many years and has always had a good experience with them. I bought my Mach-e through then as they offered to sell at MSRP if I ordered from Ford with them as the dealer. The purchase experience was very smooth with no oversell. When I picked up the car the salesman helped me with some setup of options. They also gave me a great deal on my Prius plug-in that I traded in. The only issues so far is that it took about 3 weeks to get an appointment for the 1 year service. I expect this to improve as EVs become more common and more techs get EV certified.

Car went in for its 1st service which from what I have read was reasonable at £160 inc taxes.
They produced an extensive video report on the car brake condition tyres etc & I had reported whine had developed & found that a wheel bearing & replacing under warranty. The best thing was I asked them to check for software updates as although I have had OTA not as many as I thought. They found 3 major updates including the long awaited Sync 4A. It took them 12 hrs to do them.
They also had on display the new Explorer (Europeon version based on VW pack but much improved)to look at but has been delayed 22 months for new type batteries. I still preferred the MACH-E but like it had fitted a heat pump

well done Group 1 good customer service

Georgia, Roswell Angela Kraus Ford. Purchase experience was very good. I ordered the car on line. When it came in all I did was hand them a check, shake the salesman’s hand and drive home.
When Ford had a problem handling the promised delay of delivery payment Kraus paid the full amount on their check.
On the matter of service I have had one visit. I had a 12 Volt system fault service soon warning. I brought my car in on Thursday, they gave me a nice loaner, and my car was ready Monday morning.
