Thx for all the replies so far. The MME definitely has a different color scheme near the plates compared to many other cars.

I got a black silicone frame that you wrap around the plate. That way it won't rattle against the back of the car. The Mach-E only uses 2 screws to hold on the plate for some reason, which makes it prone to rattling.

I picked up this one from Etsy. It’s not some handmade gem, it’s really a mass produced, imported frame. I liked it for the small chrome pony. The black doesn’t exactly match the richness of the black that’s on the MME.

I purchased a Silicon "frame" for my plates today. I ordered my custom plate, but appears as though those won't get here for a good amount of time Was looking for something that was more functional than "pretty". The plate slides in from the side and then screws down, should protect the car from scratching.

I have a similar one and really like it. I was going to go with no frame, just spacers to keep the plate off the car, but I found this and thought it was a better solution.
