Posted same info on the Lightning forum:

Purchased a '23 ER Lightning in Oct 23.
Been loving it for past 6 months.

Began looking for an EV for my better half around Feb.
Lots of options - decided upon a MME due to a number of reasons.
Pulled the trigger a few weeks ago.
ER, dual motor premium trim.

Traded vehicles this weekend and took the weekly drive from Oregon Coast to Seattle with MME today.

A quick report out of my impressions / better / worse between the two.
If you have information on how to adjust settings - please let me know.

MME Better:
- Auto lane changing with Blue Cruise - would really like this with the F150
- Trip screen has a "How's my driving" - I like that rating as I gain experience in the EV space
- Love the "puddle light". Wish the Lightning had this cool effect.
- Phone charger pad is actually accessible and useable
- Fits in the garage

Lightning better:
- Driver display has more and better data
- Can set "one time charge limit" on the charging page
- Better lane centering. MME "ping pongs"
- Blue Cruise doesn't slow down on corners like on the MME
- All enclosures have buttons in the cab to open - not so on MME
- Sync screen has more functions like Alexa
- Quieter
- Sun roof opens
- Pro Power outlets
- *** DRUM ROLL ***: Its a truck

Caveat: The above based upon 6 months+ on F150, one weekend with the MME

Alexa can be enabled in the MME. 😊🐩

the Puddle Light is a disappointment. I am still waiting on Poodle Lights. 🤪🐩

When BC is updated on the truck, it will be the same as the MME.

Yes, it's amazing that the truck is quieter, but it is. The wind noise on the Mach-E is very high.

MME does not have puddle lights. It has welcome lights. The cool effect disappears the moment you open the door. Lightning has true puddle lights.

MME doesn't need the one time charge limit, since it will continue charging to 100% (that's the DCFC charging).

Lightning rides better than the Mach E plus a lot less tire slap over tar strips.

Auto lane change isn’t available on all Mach es and will come to lightning’s with the rest of the MMEs in the future.
The phone charge pad on my 21 is garbage. I’m anxiously waiting for my updated pad from the goodwill program, if ford ever ships it…

Probably doesn't apply to a huge number of people, but Lightning can be used a home backup power source. MachE cannot.

I'm just disappointed that Ford doesn't have any kind of 110v inverter in my Mach-E.

I'm totally spoiled with the Powerboost. Itty bitty tiny 1.5kwh HV battery and I can leverage it for crazy uses.

The Mach-E has that gigantic electron bank underneath and I can't run my Surface Laptop? Lol

I love both vehicles. And I'm sure I would thoroughly enjoy a Lightning as well.

Get a 100+W USB-C 12V car charger for charging laptops and tablets.

The Mach-E should have maybe had a 150W 120V inverter, but the above is the modern functional replacement for that.

A 1500W inverter would have been too expensive and difficult to package into the platform, so it wasn't included.

Thanks all!

1) Enabled Alexa

2) Disabled "Predictive speed assist" in Blue Cruise - I get frustrated when following a driver that whos speed goes up/down by 10 to 15 MPH seemingly randomly. Thinking now that they have this feature enabled. I don't want to be "that guy".

3) Not certain the term for the Mustang logo shown on the ground by the driver/passenger doors. Do think it is way cool however.

Not true. MME will charge to the target charge limit. I was wishing I had the option of a one time charge limit in the MME on Friday night. Instead I had to change my home target charge limit to 100% then change it back again to 85% after charging.

I prefer to keep the battery between 70 to 30 percent and plan trips accordingly.
This is based upon some published engineering studies to maximize battery life.
On the Lightning, when stopping at a DC fast charger, I set the one time max charge to 70%. Would like similiar functionality with the MME.

Lightning stops DCFC charging at 90% by default (MME doesd not). On a Lightning one-time max charge limit can be applied to the next DCFC session.

On both Lightning and MME, when charging at a L2 saved location, you can always use Charge to 100% button.
