….and get to take it to an EV show in Seal
Cove Maine at the Seal Cove Auto Museum on Saturday the 25th……of June.

It’s the Mannequin and my Buddy was able to snag it from them at 5k miles or 6 months whichever comes first for MSRP. So December 14th or earlier. It Still gets tax credit too as in Maine they are not registered and assuming Ford still qualifies. He had to leave his deposit.

I am second in case he passes or I get the next demo unit (they are expecting another as well) but do not know specifically when..

What a test drive….it’s fast, quiet and pretty cool. I still love my Mach E…..

The corollary to "pics or it didn't happen" is: "so how about some impressions". Replies must be more than 3 words :)

Awesome power. It has so much power it actually torques itself slightly and does not want to stay perfectly straight under full throttle.

The ride is very much luxury truck like. Opposite of the Mach E. It rides just like my 2020 Ram HEMI or a Ford F-150 king ranch. It is quiet inside. It is not as “solid” as the Mach E. There are some slight noises from the doors and console rubbing the dash etc when hitting heavy bumps, and twists like a body on frame vehicle but no more than a standard F50.

I was amazed how Mach E-ish it is very similar. Very similar overhead controls and lights, the center screen is similar, the steering wheel controls are shaped different but similar. Pedals, park assist etc. it has a traction off button and an emergency defrost button.

It has many configurations of the cluster to customize. I was more focused on driving than seeing the options but you can get a lot of data.

it has dual motor temp gages on the cluster as well as a Jeep style clinometer as an option.

Power Frunk and power up and down tailgate worked as expected. The plastic grille feels a little cheap.

We did several 0-60’s hit some good speeds and averaged 2.5 m/kWh.

sticker was $82k. It was a lariat with all the options including scales, power outlets in the back, vegan leather, etc. seats were comfy and rear seat is limo like.

The paint quality and overall body fit finish is not Mach E like. Wider gaps, body sealer looking at the gaps and visible, major orange peeled paint (like any F150) , black fasteners in white wheelwell edges. Again the Mach E paint quality and gaps are much much better.

I was impressed but I am also impressed with my Mach E every day.

for an Electric Truck it’s a winner and will certainly challenge the competition.

I built a lariat equal with 3.5 Motor, $75K so after rebate this is the same out of pocket cost. Amazing!

That frunk is amazing. It is like a full proper trunk which is the one thing I missed when I had an F150. I loved my F150 and slightly regret switching to the Civic I had after that. The Civic was a much better commuter but my F150 was soooo nice. I wish I could justify a Lightning, but I can't.

Same old STINK screen I see...

Not buying another car with that screen unless they fix it...

Rest looks good though!

I thought the truck had actual leather not synthetic? I'd actually prefer what's in the MME.

I'd agree the back seats on the trucks are very limo like, nice and wide lots of room.

Good stuff. I have a star white MachE GT PE with a star white Lighting Lariat due to arrive any day now. Both at original sticker price and no ADM.

I am having a tough time to. 25-30% less efficient than the Mach E. My Mach E does everything I need well but the ride and cab room is so great. We shall see…..

As a middle-aged man living in the Midwest, I'm legally required to purchase a pick-er-up truck, so I figure it might as well be an EV. 😜
