Lights will not turn off after car locks. Lights are always in Auto setting.

Will there be a recall or they will just replace ones that complain?

Ah, if you knew that then you should know that no one knows the answer to your question yet.

My guess though? Service bulletin.

Recalls are usually for safety concerns.

Ford has not yet announced that the new switch is available. I am still of a mind that Ford will miss their target month.

Just happened to me this morning, same thing reboot your car and then switch the lights from Auto to manual and then set it back again and restart the car and it fixed the issue, looks like some software or sensor glitch

Glad you fixed it but in the future skip the various reboot steps. All you need to do is rotate the knob to Auto.

What @macchiaz-o said. Plus it’s a hardware, or at least firmware issue. The Mach-e is not the only car affected by this bug. Our 2020 Raptor, for example, has the same issue.

I'm not sure I have seen this issue lately (I updated all my modules with FDRS), but wasn't this a hardware issue and Ford was supposed to issue a recall to repair once the new hardware was available, or am I confusing the issue with something else?
