Thanks @macchiaz-o . This far handier than relying on memory or "where did I bookmark that?"

The jumper cable question finally answered! Good find.
Interesting. I thought that was the tow hook panel. Is there a tow rod and a pair of electrodes in there? That doesn't seem very safe.

That brings up another question. I too would have thought that panel was for a tow hook. Since it is not, I'm at a loss as to where an alternate location might be for front mounted license plates. In my state, they're required, but (as on my current vehicle) I use a tow hook license plate mount so as not to have to drill into the front fascia with a plate bracket. Do we know yet how Ford has addressed front plates? I don't want to destroy the beautiful front end

I would like an alternative mount, as well.

We've seen plenty of pictures of Ford's solution, which requires holes in the front fascia. My approach was the tow hook solution, too. That's discussed in

Metal tow rod and electrodes in the same panel, what could possibly go wrong?

On my Model 3, It is both a tow hook panel and a small connection for 9V batter that will allow the frunk to open for access to the 12V battery for jumping / replacement.
