I was reading through thr forum this morning, and it occurred to me that literally nothing discussed in the forum has ever gone wrong with my Mach e. Same with all the YouTubers. I have a theory about this. I made very few changes from the way the car was delivered. I especially wonder about the YouTubers. I think they fiddle around with and are constantly changing everything in the car. I wonder if this leads to problems? The software in these cars is crazy complex. Probably works best with a simple setup?

i would also like to note I live at 9k feet in the Colorado Rockies. I put on snow tires in the winter. This car is amazing in snow. In some situations better than my wrangler. I wonder why ford does not promote this more. I understand that they used a lot of engineering time on the topic.
Best car I've ever owned...zero issues and virtually no maintenance costs.

Alternatively, a new loom only looks like a bumper removal job, seems to plug in locally behind bumper and under the froot panels (if you can get a new one, have you tried?), or a really good independent auto electrician with the kit and a will to succeed to fix and fit old one back, if at all possible??

Same here.My 2023 CR1 has 25K miles, and no service other than tire rotation. I live upstate NY so winters are tough on range, but it's quiet, peppy and fun to drive. Yes it's tech-heavy and you need to be at least partially tech friendly, but I think Ford made a great car.

3 years and almost 30K miles on my 2021 Job 2.

Hands-free BlueCruise didn't work and it couldn't be fixed at the dealership. OTA 6 months later finally enabled it.
Frunk got stuck in half-closed state. It took three visits to the dealer to get it properly fixed, and the electrical release did not work for a couple of months while the required part was in order.
My car with the standard battery is not the subject for HVBJB recall, but it failed anyway, and I had to wait a month for the replacement; at least I was able to drive at that time.
Software got better, but still gives some surprises from time to time; the most critical one was inability to enter the passcode when PAAK failed.

Still, despite all that, I love the car and have no regrets about getting it in the first place. I will recommend it to anyone, but I'd set expectations based on my less-than-perfect experience.
Thank you for your honest review Alex, we appreciate it! We're happy to hear you're still enjoying your Mach-E. :)

Be careful about jinxing yourself. Mine was great until just over 28k miles and two years. Now I traded it in as fast as I could get rid of it.

I absolutely agree. I am at 27,000 miles and only my windshield washer fluid is not spraying totally covered on my next visit at 30,000.

My experiences with an AWD Premium with the extended range battery are the same. 25000 miles and no issues save one. Shortly after delivery I posted a complaint about a high pitch whine between 30 and 40 mph. It still occurs and havenā€™t identified the source. That notwithstanding I am extremely happy with this car a would certainly purchase another when the time comes.

I couldn't agree with you more. They really do not promote the advantages of these cars in cold climate and snow. I live in Quebec Canada, this is my second MME and the instant heat, handling and performance in snow and ice is amazing.

Keep in mind my previous vehicles were a Land Rover and a Jeep Wrangler. Now obviously, its not designed for off road use (common sense), put I have driven both MMEs in blizzards, through ice and snow storms and even across a frozen river - in winter conditions I give it an A+ rating.

Yes I do use snow tires every season and both my MME (Premium and GTPE) are AWD.

I really like my 23 GT.

I did have the HVBJB go. My kid was driving the car and Ford called me before he did. They towed it and had me fixed up by the end of the week. The only downside was I cracked the windshield on the rental car that the dealer gave me, they charged me as they should have.

Other than that, I am about a year in with 19k miles and have just rotated the tires a couple of times.

No happy Ford customers allowed.
Grab a bullhorn and drown this happy stuff out.

Misery doesn't just love company, but wants to spread. šŸ™„šŸ¤£
It's not that misery loves company because some of us share real world problems with our mme's. Just because you have an experienced any issues doesn't mean that the vehicle is flawless. There's plenty of real-world documented issues with these vehicles. But the truth is if you ever experience the single problem with your vehicle the first place you would run to IS this forum for some guidance. But with that being said next time your experience a problem don't share it on this platform, instead take it to the dealership and wait eight months for an update. God forbid you ever experience an issue with your mme down the road... we would want you to spread your misery right?

I think you read way more into my snarky remark than it deserves.
But I knew the risk when I typed it. :)

It was a general statement about forums these days. This forum is far from the only one that can draw ire if someone posts how much they enjoy their vehicle and that they haven't experienced any serious issues.

Nothing in that celebration is a denial of others not having such good fortune. But some percentage of the unfortunate often take it that way.

Says the person that probably has monthly payments... smh
For those of us that worked hard and paid cash the 60% depreciation was a huge Factor.

If you paid $1,000 for a $5 light bulb would you feel good about yourself knowing that it lasted 10 yearsšŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
Because I thought 10 years worth of use of a lightbulb was worth $1000? Yes.

Any other questions?

My car will be worth 1-2 grand by the time I got rid of it. Doesnā€™t matter if it cost me 50k or 100k. Equation doesnā€™t change. Itā€™s the same thing that happens to every vehicle. Doesnā€™t matter if itā€™s a luxury car thatā€™s loses 50% day one, or if it takes longer. You drive itā€¦it goes down to $0 value.

But I love how you think your also a better worker and your money is uh different than mine?

Since you like math always remember to account for variable change... if you're mme doesn't last as long as you hoped, then what? Seems the equation DOES changešŸ¤”

Just sayingšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
I am confident I wonā€™t keep the vehicle less than 2 years and then be shocked to learn vehicles quickly lose their value.

In fact if depreciation was the deciding factor of if I can afford a vehicle I wouldnā€™t be dropping the cash on a brand new vehicle in the first place.

But Iā€™m sure youā€™ll figure out keeping vehicles for less than 2 years is not working those finances hard eventually.
