If the $7,500 tax credit no longer applies in addition to a higher MSRP and higher interest rates I would imagine there will be a lot of MMEs starting to sit in inventory in the near future. Especially when you factor in all the software bugs that still exist and the much lower than stated range in colder temps.

It's the same with all EVs, dealing with the same things and the same bugs.
Just wanted to point out there is availability. Not intending to open the gates for a tearfest.

Gonna be interesting the price adjustments we see with inventory picking back up. People forget that dealers used to have inventory lol

So glad I got out of my used Kia and into the Mach E when I did. Although you'll start seeing new cars selling for $1k-$3k under MSRP in 2023, used cars will be worthless soon.

(yes, I know you can always sell a used car, but rewind to 2009-2013 and tell me how well your used car value held up back then - I sold 3 cars in that time and the market was saturated)

I have a feeling there will be lots of available stock once the new tax rules kick in next week. We have an order due for delivery in the next two weeks that we will walk away from.
Mine is due next week and I'm going to walk away as well.

I’d wait to see if Ford passes the $7500 credit through leases now that the Treasury has approved the use of that (45W) loophole. 70-80% of 2021/2022 ID.4s at my FL dealership we’re leased with the tax credit as cap reduction and many were bought out after.

I hate the dealership I bought from, with a white hot passion, but, I wouldn’t buy a MME with this landscape. 3750 tax credit if you are lucky, MSRP for an order when you wait for 8 months if you are lucky, no extended range, no thanks.
