Actually very pleased with the service so far from San Tan. The phone call earlier was from Tyler, who is the sales agent I originally spoke with back in May or June. He also sent me the pics. Really surprised he saved my contact info and thought to drop me a line when the Mach E showed up. I will make sure to thank him for that.

A few moments ago I get an e-mail from Justin who is their Mach E specialist and the guy that places the orders in the Ford system. He is the one who called when a First Edition was available and has stayed in regular touch since. No VIN or build date yet....but I did just receive this message from him a moment ago....

Hello and thank you for converting your Mach-E reservation to an order. If you would like to get an in person look, we will have a Mach-E at the dealership this weekend! Please keep in mind this is not a demo vehicle. We will not be able to drive it but we can sit in it and check it out. It should get here around noon on Saturday and be here until 6pm on Sunday. I would love to get an opportunity to meet you in person, let you take a look at the Mach-E and show you our dealership if you have not been here before. Please give me a call or reply to this email and lets set up a time to get together this weekend.

So, obviously a form letter but still nice that he reached out to all of us. I think he said there are 12 customers at his dealership who have ordered a car. Sounds like these are very popular vehicles.

@SnBGC, can you find out from your Dealer there at San Tan Ford , if they are the only ones to get it for the weekend? And will it be there all of Saturday? If so, slumming is on!

He wasn't sure what the schedule is for that car. It is in town so presumably it's at one of the other dealerships right now. ??? Or maybe the proving grounds......Ford does have one nearby on the East side of town...

He said it should be there around noon on Saturday and gone by Sunday around 6:00 pm.
I am shooting for Saturday late afternoon sometime. I have to drop off my GTO at Barrett-Jackson in the morning but I am free after that. Maybe I'll see you guys there!

36 on our PHEV van 18" wheels, the BEV we have is 38-40, really hard on 18" wheels (albeit run-flats), those 19" ones aren't looking to ride like a caddy. A nice 18" option for the Premium would be preferred.

C-Max is 38. I assume heavier the car, heavier the pressure???

Fiesta calls for 35 psi on the 16" wheels. Little guy only weighs about 1.25 tons.

This is not the reaction I was expecting on this forum. I thought you were supposed to say something like "wow, ford is really low balling the published numbers. Actual range is 8,800 miles but they're keeping it under wraps for now."

Thanks for info and hours in particular. I didn’t get anything from Justin but just checked in with him and will try to stop by. He did tell me the other day they had 25 orders so might be why they are getting a visit.

Wow. Look at those tire pressures. 15 psi more than any car I've owned.

Low rolling resistance tires use a higher pressure than "normal" tires so they don't deform as much going down the road (deformation uses energy hence less deformation is more efficient).

I keep the Bolt at 38 lbs.

(My RV tires are 70 front/65 rear...its all relative.)
