Probably a good idea to get people's aftermarket wheel/tire size/specs etc with pictures so everyone looking to do fitments can review.

I'll start with my setup:
20x9 +38 with a 245/45/20 and 20x10.5 +45 295/40/20
Ride quality has definitely improved as well as handling, range is down a little bit but we haven't really driven it much yet.
Long term I'll be switching to a 20x10 +50 in the rear and probably move to a 275/40 and 245/45 staggered setup due to the plan to lower it

Here is mine:
20x8.5 +40 square setup with 245/45ZR20 tires all around.
TSW Neptune Rotary Forged wheels with a load rating of 1650 per wheel, which they say is fine because it's more than half of the highest axle weight rating.

Even though the whole setup is lighter by about 4-5 lbs per wheel, I see about a 10% decrease in efficiency on my mostly highway driving commute. Well worth it, though! Much better handling and still a smooth ride.

My setup:
Signature SV706 wheels in gloss black. Front 20x8.5 +34, rear 20x10 +47. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tires front 255/45/20, rear 295/40/20. Even though the wheels and tires are much larger than OEM, was able to shave off 14.5 lbs total weight on the new setup.

As Mike had stated with his Mach-E, the car drives and handles much better. I have had this setup now for over 4000 miles and probably have a 10% hit in the range. Since I only had the car for one week before changing out the wheels and tires, I have no clue what my mi/kWh was stock but I can say that the average I am getting for the total 4000 miles is 3.0 mi/kWh. The trip I took two weeks ago to Yosemite and then to the SF bay area then back home was 457 miles and averaged 3.3 mi/kWh.

I have an Iconic Silver GTPE on order and thinking of ordering another set of wheels in a simple 5 spoke design. I would be getting the same size wheel specs but changing the tires to 245/45/20 front and 275/40/20 rear because I want to go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires and they are not available in the 295/40/20 size.

I'm thrilled with results.... new wheels are an inch wider, 6.5# lighter, and the alloy nuts take off about 10oz more per wheel!

I finally got all the bits in house, and had a local tire shop slide the stock tires from my Select onto my new wheels. I figure I will run the OEM tires until worn out, and then go for nicer, wider, sticker summer tires. I'll put some nice Snow/Ice tires on the factory wheels for winter when it snows since I do hit the mountains for skiing, etc...

My goals in wheel selection were to stay at stock diameter, reduce weight as much as possible while sticking with a 700kg rated wheel, and hold the cost down as much as possible.... which means one-piece alloy, probably with pretty much straight 'spokes'. I found choices somewhat limited with correct bolt circle and offset; but decided on:

msrp $250ea -
18x8.5 Enkei TS-V, part number 522-885-3140 - 19.5#, 5x108bc, 40mm inset, 72.6 bore
I got mine from pattersonperformanceparts.com

note that OEM Select wheels are:
18x7.5 - 25.6#, 5x108bc, 63.4 bore

This means I also had to get
$14 + 72.6-63.4 centric rings :
.amazon.com/ZHTEAPR-Wheel-Centric-72-6mm-63-4mm/dp/B08L8VVDDW/ref=asc_df_B08L8VVDDW/?

$164 + valves+TPS+'activator' : .americanmuscle.com/search?keywords=389789

$55 + 14x1.5 lug nuts because factory nuts have a chrome cap that doesn't fit in Enkei holes : vmsracing.com

Had the front completed with PPF at SCH Auto in Victoria m, BC and asked them to paint the calipers a custom blue.

The total was about $2500. $2000 was PPF install.

The wheels are Klasse GT4 which I’ve posted before.

Have a great weekend.

Wheel and tire combo is absolute fire! How does the ride compare? A lot stiffer or "better" as some say? I worry slightly about the 265/35 with potholes but it looks like a decent amount of meat on there...

I am new to the forum. Waiting for the 2022's to come out and put my order in for a MME GT. I am trying to do the research on wheels since there is no way I can keep the stock wheels on the GT and I am not paying $5K for the GT PE for a those wheels and a 0.3 seconds differential.

The last time I had to think about what "rims" I hoped to buy was when I was 16 and you had a choice between Centerline and Cragar. ;)I will keep the stock tires until l wear them out and then think about other tires. Not wanting to really increase the tire size or buy a set of wheels beyond the $2K to $3K range. Just improve the handling a bit and make it look good.

I do have a question about the reduction in mileage. I see posts that they kept the OEM tire size, changed out the wheels (reduced weight) and the mileage went down by 10%. To me, loosing 26 miles on a 260 mile range is not ideal. Why does the mileage go down with a simple wheel change? Are the wheels more drag? Are the tires more suited for performance (more rolling friction) and reducing the mileage? Education and advise is always welcomed.

The vehicle actually rides better than OEM in almost all settings. You can watch the suspension movement some here

Really good video! If you had to pick a size for a daily commuter would it be 20",21" or 22"? I'm still on the fence between 21 and 22's. The 265/35/22 tires have a decent amount of meat on them. I’m not worried about range! More about looks and ride quality.

I would use cost as the main factor in deciding between the three sizes. I have built wheel setups in all three configurations and everyone tends to agree on the ride quality remaining great.
