Niche 256 19inch rims so I can use old tread. And old rims were mounted to blizzdex winter tires. Love this car so much next will be window, headlight, and tail light tint. These tires seem to be efficient they are lighter than the stock ones. But probably less aero

I went with Vossen 22x9.5 custom made wheels for Mach-E with an offset in the back for that deep dish look. 265x35 r22 Toyoā€™s all around.

This past weekend was busy, but nevertheless productive.

With our new West Sacramento showroom open it has been pretty beneficial in providing a location for local enthusiasts to chill, and do work. I was fortunate to link up with Garry in his new Dark matter Gray Metallic Mach-E GT. This was the first one I had the chance to see in person and it did not disappoint.

The goal for the day was verifying wheel fitment with the larger braking system. I am happy to report that we had no issues getting the wheels to bolt right up, even with the larger calipers.

I had a couple sets of Mach-E wheels on hand, so we tested my track setup. 20x9.5 square rotatable Signature Wheel Track Series SV502. These are finished in Matte Bronze and worked well with the carbonized. A much simpler design over the OEM wheel aesthetic.

Finally got the Mach-Ete lowered!
.
It took me roughly 5 months to get this project from start to finish. I started with a 1.5" lowering concept. This would be enough drop to hunker the car down visually and not overwhelm the OEM shocks.
.
Two key factors were also considered. First was keeping the ride quality of OEM. The second factor was utility. Many will use thise cars to haul people, luggage, or a trip to costco. I made some adjustments to the rear spring to give a slight rake. This gives the car a litte more sport look, but most importatly keeps the rear from sagging when loaded down.
.
Took the car on a 200 mile trip the other day and it was great. I have two sets of 1" lowering springs on hand if anyone wants to snag them too.

Given our endless potholes and curbs that jump out at WAGs, I decided to forgo my desired custom forged wheels in favor of some flow formed Ferradas. With limited options in the 5x108 market, some friends assisted in some semi-custom pieces to get what I was looking to achieve:

Ferrada FR8 | CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS Ultra High Performance All-Season
20x9 ET35 | 245/45R20 | 52.0lbs
20x10 ET45 | 275/40R20 | 55.8lbs

*Ford OEM GTPE wheel + 245/45 PZero combo weighed 60.4lbs each. So Iā€™ve shaved ~26lbs off the rotating mass, while adding a bit more contact patch.

Maintains OE height and balanced stretch. Outer sidewalls are pretty close to flush with fenders, which was the target. Initially we planned to mill down the fronts ~3mm and rears ~2mm to target ET38|ET47, but these off the shelf offsets look like they may work out good as-is.

I really wanted the maximum concave I could do, but given OE offsets itā€™s tough to accomplish unless we go pretty wide. Curious how a 9.5/255 & 10.5/285 setup would play out (maybe next round), but really not too much room out back to work withā€¦ The rear plastic fender liner is pretty close with 10ā€|275, but this can be pulled back some without much work

*Weather here has been crap the last week, so parking garage photos will have to suffice... Also note the susp is likely not settled on the ferrada side comparo shots

Probably a good idea to get people's aftermarket wheel/tire size/specs etc with pictures so everyone looking to do fitments can review.

I'll start with my setup:
20x9 +38 with a 245/45/20 and 20x10.5 +45 295/40/20
Ride quality has definitely improved as well as handling, range is down a little bit but we haven't really driven it much yet.
Long term I'll be switching to a 20x10 +50 in the rear and probably move to a 275/40 and 245/45 staggered setup due to the plan to lower it

Looking to do the same specs. Any issues I should be aware of? No rubbing, no mods for spacing issues? Any regrets on the chosen sizes 295/40 and 245/45? Iā€™m about ready to pull the trigger but need to hear from someone whose been there! Thanks, and beautiful ride!!

No issues even now with the new lower 1 5/2.25 drop I have. The only thing affected is range but handling is much improved.

Adding my own to the mix. These are 18x7.5, ET45 wheels from a Jaguar F-Pace, ~2017 to 2020. They weigh 24.1 lbs each, and I got this set used for $1000 shipped (ebay). They were refurbished and powder coated gloss black by the seller - condition was damn near perfect. I put an inexpensive set of Mustang decals (from eBay) over the Jaguar wheel caps.

These are for my winter tires, which are Vredestein Wintrac Pro, size 235/60-R18. This size is 1.1% larger diameter than stock, but I was happy to take the slightly beefier size, and while 235 is wider than stock, it is still fairly narrow for a vehicle of this weight, which should make for good snow traction.

With a tire weight of ~29lbs, this puts me at 53lbs, a bit less than stock. I like the beefy look for winter tires, so I'm quite happy. I think for summers I might move up to 20", however.

I know I could have gone with an aftermarket wheel for the same price, but I figured a quality OEM wheel for the same price as a cheap aftermarket was a fine deal, and I always prefer to re-use when practical. These Jaguar wheels look nice, are clearly high quality, and fit perfectly without centering rings or different lug nuts.

As far as fit, they stick out 8mm further, which is no big deal. The clearance around the front brake is quite close - probably less than a cm. This shows clearly that 18" wheels won't fit on the GT models with their larger calipers, and even on the normal trims, 18" is close, and some may not quite clear.

No issues here either and Iā€™m running 255/45/20 front and 295/40/20 rear.

Got these installed this week. Pretty happy with them, sit out fairly far. I am sure they cut down on mileage but I don't care, don't drive that far very often.

Thanks! What tires did you go with and do you like them? Going back and forth between 275/40 and 295/40 partly because every time I decide on one or the other the tires arenā€™t available in the size I want.

Another beautiful build on that tire combo. Of course Discount Tire doesnā€™t have the 255ā€™s available right now.

My most recent tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV but before that tried the Michelin Latitude Sport 3's. On the upcoming GT I am going with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires as it will be my only vehicle to drive in cold weather and light snow. I am selling the F150 and I don't want two sets of wheels and tires for the Mach-E.

Iā€™ve been most interested in the P Zeros as well but from what Iā€™m seeing it doesnā€™t come in a 295. Iā€™m no tire guru so maybe I wonā€™t know what Iā€™m missing. I need an all season for a little snow too.
