I put on the new wheels today. They took a lot of the annoying bounce out of the ride. Way better cornering. I think they look great too. TSW Sebring 20 inch with ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus - Size: 245/45ZR20 .

Nice! I also bought these rims to be my summer/track wheels for my GT. They were supposed to be installed today but one rim arrived damaged... so now I have to wait another week for UPS guy! I decided to go with Michelin Pilot 4S.

Good work! They look great.

Super excited to finally post on this thread! Yesterday I picked up 4 of Savini Di Forza's BM14 in Double Dark Tint and had them fitted on my Mach-E! Wheels are: 20", 8.5", offset 45. Tires are: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, 255/45 ZR20. I am honestly in LOVE with how they look... the fit and finish is superb and transforms the entire look of the car. The tire fitment is perfect, no poke, no rubbing, and the extra 30mm of tire makes the stance so much better. In regards to ride quality, I don't have too much time on them yet, but I did notice a bit more road noise than what I remember on the old tires... The overall ride is a bit more stiff too, less of a bounce and you can feel each road imperfection. Those 2 criticisms are undoubtedly overshadowed by my satisfaction for everything else though. The looks have improved tremendously and that extra tire meat makes turning significantly less of a chore and guessing game. I am waiting for a few more miles to get on them before I rip around a few of the lovely Midwest roads in my area. Expecting a tremendous performance difference though.

those of you running staggered 22x9 22x10.5, what size rear tires do you recommend? Figured the front would be a 265/35 22 but not sure what the correct tire size would be for the rear

What's been the impact on range from these wheel/tire changes?

Somewhere around 5% loss of range if 100% highway driving. In mixed driving quite a bit less.

Wow, not sure how many 22x10.5s we have. 265/35-R22 is 2.2% higher circumference which is acceptable, but pushing it a bit. 255/35 is only 1.2% larger than stock, but leaves you with a little less sidewall protection. On the rear, 285/30-R22 is plausible, as it is only 0.4% larger. 295/30 is 1% larger than stock, which makes it a good match for the 255/35, but that is a very wide tire, not sure about fitment at that level.

I suppose I'd recommend 255/35-R22 for the front and 295/30-R22 for the rear if you can confirm it will fit under there. Both would be a very close diameter match to one another, and only about 1% higher than stock.

None for me, but the stock GTPE wheels aren't very aerodynamic.

As Sam said above, the best tire sizes for 22’s would be 255/35/22 & 295/30/22 because the two are very close in diameter and only 1% larger than stock. However there are two issues with these size 22’s in that you are limited to only one tire available in both those sizes, Pirelli P Zero Performance Summer and the 255/35/22 has a much lower load rating of 99 instead of the minimum load rating of 103 for the Mach-E. Even if you went with 265/35/22‘s up front it still has a slightly less load rating of 102.

The problem is 22’s have too narrow of a sidewall in those sizes yielding a lower load rating. In a 22 tire with a 35 aspect ratio, you need at least a 275 and in a 30 AS, a 295. This is why you don’t see many people with 22’s on there Mach-E (there are a few though). 21’s are much easier to find the proper load rating for the Mach-E. The closest match in size and still only 1% larger than stock would be 255/40/21 & 285/35/21. There are 6 different tires you can get in those sizes and the load rating for those sizes are 105, 108.

As far as fitment for 295’s in the rear (no matter if it’s 20, 21 or 22’s) yes they will fit. You need to make sure you have the correct wheel offset. Too much positive offset and the tire will rub against the inner fender liner and shock. Too little positive offset and the wheel pokes out past the fender. That would be ok if you never load the car with passengers in the rear and luggage but if you did and drove over large bumps or dips the tire will contact the fender lip.

I‘ve been running 295/40/20’s for a total of over a year now in the rear of both my premium and now my GT and never have issues. I have no poke and no rubbing at anytime. There are also several other members here with 295’s on the rear with no issues.

Have you taken the aero covers off yet? Would like to see these without the aero covers on. Ideally drive around town without them but put them on when going far.
