I like your setup. Where did you get it? Vendor/retailer?
thank you for your input, any thoughts on what offset should be used if I go with the 10” square setup. I read your not a fan of the poke but I don’t mind as much as the look would be more agresive unless you think I’ll have problems with rubbing.
I think you should keep at least 3/8" space between the inner sidewall and front strut. That said, my wheel is a 20"x9" ET32 and if you want to run a 10" wheel up front, that is roughly an additional 25mm. The 275's on a 10" wheel will be slightly more stretched than on a 9" wheel so the sidewall will not protrude as much. If you went with a 20 offset, this would keep the inner sidewall about the same 3/8" while the tire will stick out about 1". Again, this all has to do with the brand tire and it's sidewall profile but that is what I would do. Since you want a square setup, with the rear also having an offset of 20, that tire will have a poke of about 1/2" less than the front.

Now, the issue I could see with that much of a poke both front and rear is if you had the car loaded down with passengers and luggage and you went over a large bump in the road, your tires will definitely hit the top of the wheel lip moulding. Maybe you are the only one ever in the car and in that case it would be ok, but something you need to think about.

Having seen it first-hand, I would say his setup looks aggressive. My stock one looks benign next to Mark’s. 😊🐩

I wanted to push the limit on tire width while keeping the poke as flush as possible. I could bring in the offsets a bit more about 3mm which would make the tires flush but I don't like having less than 1/4" of clearance between tire and suspension. In order to fit those 315's in the rear with barely 1/8" poke and 3/8" inner clearance, I had to modify the OEM rear upper shock mount. I first tried two aftermarket shock mounts (Steeda and J&M) that were said to give more clearance but they really didn't. I took the OEM mount and shaved off 1/8" off the front and back side giving me 1/4" more clearance between the tire sidewall and that mount. I also had to pull in (using a screw) the felt inner wheel well liner in one particular spot. I have absolutely no issues with rubbing anywhere and I have run this setup for months and over 6000 miles. Have had the car loaded down with passengers and luggage.

That said, I will be going back down in tire size to what I have run quite a few times before with different other tires, 265/45/20 and 295/40/20. With winter coming I want to run all season tires and not happy with the choices that are out there in the sizes I am running now. My favorite all season tire I've had so far, and I've had quite a few, are the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus. I'll be getting those probably around December.

So what are your thoughts with this setup: 9” 255/45/20 square setup but i’m thinking of abandoning the square setup and going staggered 20x9” in front and 20x10” in back, would appreciate your input with regards to staggered vs square.

I would also think that any suspension articulation with steering input may cause a tub. My Blazer rubs with about 45% steering deflection off of neutral without articulation (outboard corners of tires rub on lower fender opening). Due to body shape, that rub goes away with moderate articulation from static, but it also rubs the upper arch at full compression whether the steering is straight or off center. 😱🐩

Just got these bad boys in from @VibeMotorsports
Vossen HF-7 satin black 20x9 with a 38 offset.
Still need to test fit them before I get tires, but my car is at the detail shop getting ppf'd.

Looking forward to see them on your car 🙌

Hi Manny, sorry I missed seeing your post yesterday.

Those photos are more than a year old and that's my first setup on my previous Mach-E Premium. I've had several setups since then on both the Premium and now my GT. The vendor/retailer of the wheels is Signature Wheels (https://www.signaturewheel.com/). They are a custom wheel manufacture. All wheels are special order to your exact size, fitment, color, etc. They are fully forged aluminum meaning they are extremely strong and light. Only a carbon fiber wheel is lighter and not by much. They aren't cheap but they are much less expensive than many other fully forged wheels out there.

For the past several years on three of my cars, I've dealt with Terrance who is their North American rep for Porsche, Ford and Ford Performance (Racing). Terrance is a huge Mustang fan owning a fox body that he races, GT350, GT500, Mach-E and Raptor. He is constantly changing up his cars and even more so the wheels he runs on them. Even though Terrance and Signature Wheels are very popular in the entire Mustang community, the 2020 GT500 seems to be the sweet spot. Terrance has helped hundreds of owners (300+) custom design wheels for their GT500, me being one of them. His thread on the 2020 GT500 forum which is just 3 years old has over 150K views and thumbing through there, you can see many of these setups which seem to happen on a weekly basis. You can get some great ideas here: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/signature-wheel’s-gt500-adventures.125598/

Beings the Mach-E is more of a daily driver SUV rather than a performance muscle car, purchasing expensive custom wheels is not on the top of most owner's list when it comes to upgrading them. That said, two other members here have purchased the same exact wheel/tire setup I had on my Premium that you were inquiring about and he's sold several other sets of wheels here in the Mach-E community. Link to Signature Wheels thread on this forum: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/signature-wheel’s-mach-e-adventures.3587/

Thought I would end with Terrance's newest personal car. I met up with him a couple of weeks ago (he's in Sacramento a couple of hours from me) and he wanted to drag race but my SOC was at 26% with several gray bars so I declined. Even if I was at 100% it wouldn't have been fair but I do know one thing, after 75mph he would have left me in the dust. 😊

Finally put my new wheels on. They fit perfect, except I wish the rears had a little concave. However I don't want the tires sticking out, so I'm fine with how they look. Also I got 255/45/20 tires, when I should have gotten 255/40/20's. No worries tho, I'll just get them next time when I burn these off

Don’t worry, you got the right size - 255/45-R20 is the closest diameter in the 255 width. It is 1% higher diameter than stock. 255/40-R20 is 2.5% smaller, which is worse.

New rims came in and pulled the trigger on the pilot sport 4 suv - 295/40/20 in the rear and 265/45/20 up front on 9 and 10 inch rims. The front are a little more than half a pound lighter than the gtpe stock and the rears are about 3 pounds heavier.
