is that for an ER or SR battery? The standard range is supposed to top out at 115kw

Will there be an ĂĽbercharging?

Something to keep in mind: max charge rate in itself doesn't really matter. The parameters of interest are average charge rate and vehicle efficiency. Say GM actually makes an electric Hummer as they're advertising. It may accept more than double the peak charge rate, but with unknown charging curves, it could be say only 50% higher average charge rate. With a vehicle less than half as efficient as a Mach E, it's still still behind.

Looking at the Mach-E behind the chargers it's an AWD EX (logo's on drivers door)

Thanks! I'm so happy that I figured out "auto-translate."

The video showed 121kW at 42%. HELL YES! pulling 120 kW all the way to 42% is awesome and better than peaking at 150kW for a few minutes. This is just one data point. Too bad there were not more.

And it's a First Edition
no it’s not a First Edition. The FE has same-colour wheel casings (don’t kno the exact English word for it) where these are glossy black on the picture.

FE= same color as body
AWD/Premium = glossy black
RWD/Select = mat black

I don't know the correct word, either. For now, I call them "wheel lips." :) In reality, they probably use a boring phrase such as "wheel well molding" or "wheel fender trim."

That's what I was just about to post. 121 kW still at 42% is pretty good. I was estimating the charge curve would stay at 150 kW maybe up to 30%, then start tapering rather significantly. I'll have to do some math to see how that fits in the "10-80% in 45 minutes" Ford keeps repeating. That's a 82 kW avg for 45 minutes. I'm thinking 121 kW at the 42% mark probably beats that pace by just a little.

Where did you see that? I think the Select may be limited to 115kw, but I don’t recall ever seeing that the standard range battery would have that limitation.

Note that the charging session is only 49 seconds long and thus the 42% represents the state of the battery when first plugged in (or just about).

So it hasn't been at 120.9kW for very long.
