Well has you know in Canada we cannot go online and check our order status
I hate the fact that we cannot check directly with ford our order status ... I don't trust my dealer. I feel like i must trust my dealer and i'm stuck with them. (And of course, we cannot check every day to see if we finally got a VIN :( )

I agree. Every time I text my salesman I get the "It's all good" reply

I didn't want to risk not getting the $7,500, plus I'm trying to keep this somewhat on the cheap (Relatively speaking)

That's the same response I get!
I just talked to my sales guy on saturday. He had no idea about the options plan on the MME, nor that there was a $5000 state rebate program on BEV's that went into effect in January here in NJ.

Wait, did we all order from the same dealer?

I've taken to passing on little tidbits from the two forums every now and then mostly as an exercise in educating them but also in the hope they'll actually pass on a VIN before my car arrives.

Dealers are good at selling cars on the lot. Waiting on custom orders not so much. I generally have more info along the way than they do.

To increase range front passengers are provided with two folding fans. (Seriously I believe like other Fords rear vents are in the center console stack)

I like my sales guy and he just doesn't know anything. I don't think they are being updated any faster than we are. I think we are getting some good info from the guys who have connections in Mexico and Dearborn. Thanks to them I know things I would never have learned elsewhere.

It is a pity though that we need people outside Ford to get what Ford owes us!
We get much more information here than having direct contact with Ford and/or dealer...

Don’t take it out of context. I said a “nice” Cadillac. lol. I had the ATS and it was the worst ride ever. I meant like a CT6.
Had the first generation SRX. Drove great. Reliability not so great.
