This guy has the car floored instead of his foot on the brake. This is the result of panic. Most likely a flat sent him into the wall.

I'm guessing he panicked and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. Happened to a friend of mine years ago: she started going down a pretty steep piece of road, the car accelerated and in a panic she hit the wrong pedal. Luckily she walked away without injuries.

This appears to target a limited number of 2021 MachE. I don't know if 50 units means 50 cars.

NHTSA ID Number: 24V777000

Manufacturer Ford Motor Company

Components SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

Potential Number of Units Affected: 50

Summary

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 Mach-E vehicles. An Over-The-Air (OTA) update to the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) may result in a loss of power brake assist, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, and driver assistance features.
But that's not a 2021 model. They didn't come in Eruption Green, or with those wheels.

Maybe, that would be the only logical explanation, considering it seems the driver's hands are up in the air?!
Praying not controlling the car 🤷🏼‍♂️

All of these possibilities feel just like that, but someone trying to get control of a car does‘t take their hands off the controls. Something very much not right here. If I am ford, I launch an investigation. This is almost certainly defamation.

Yeah and Bluecruise would disengage if that was the case, brining the car to a stop via Regen breaking and even letting off the gas. This dude is foot to the floor. Bluecruise is not engaged during this.
I’d like to forensically download the crash & pre-crash data from his event data recorder, I’d find out what he was doing for sure.

Even with 0 braking, car would definitely slow and stop, rather quickly, when hitting wall, and then basically "riding the wall") Insurance company's rarely investigate braking issues. Everyone claims they stepping on brake but actually stepping on go pedal. He would have better luck claiming unintended acceleration.
