How do you know your reservation is high? Is it based on the reservation number or when you made it? My reservation was confirmed 11/19/19 and the number is 10012731. Does the reservation number indicate its sequence in the reservation queue?

I reserved my GT last June, and I’m 10069XXX. I’m crossing my fingers for a early October delivery. Really would like a new car before winter hits ?

I had a pretty low reservation number then Ford cancelled it for no reason and I was forced to re-reserve with a 106xxx number. I’m hoping I see my GT this year

I found the answer in the order guides. Job 2 is scheduled to start 7/5/21 (subject to change).

does anyone have any thoughts on if snow tires would be required on the GT Performance since they are calling out those Pirelli's as being summer performance tires?

Yes, if you're going to drive in the snow, mud-and-snow tires would be required (3-mountain-peak symbol on the sidewall). Ford says the summer Pirellis shouldn't be used in temperatures lower than 45°F. Even if you put chains on the tires, the tires' rubber could start "chunking" or cracking at below-freezing temps. Or you could run all-season tires and use chains. I believe that Canada requires that new cars with summer tires must also be sold with winter tires and wheels.

I bought my Focus RS with the 2nd set of tires/wheels. The traction in the snow is very good, so I run without chains.

Good advice on the written commitment on X-plan. I got that in email confirmation and so I pulled the trigger.

The lump in my stomach...is that from excitement about the car or because I am that much closer to spending an obscene amount of money on a car?

IMHO: Obscene would be spending over $100k for a slower, less iconic car. $65k to $70k for a GT Mach E sounds pretty darn good.

As someone who's seen it in person, is there anything about the color that says orange to you? I've only seen pictures, but I'm convinced this is Ford's Yellow Blaze they used back in 2011.
