Why do you say non-PE GT?

I thought this was the GT Performance Edition wheel... But I dunno. I just find 'em and post 'em. :)
I don't know what the heck it is - agreed that it looks like the GT PE wheel, but the 235 tire made me think that it was another option. I had read somewhere that some markets had a 20" wheel option on the First Edition, and that it had a 235 rather than a 245 tire.

But maybe this is just a frankenstein demo and they threw whatever tire they had on the wheel and that it doesn't represent a "real" configuration...

We know the Performance Edition will have a 245 tire, but do we know what the non-PE will have?

Does anyone know “in theory” how much time will be lost for 0-60 with the glass roof assuming 3.5 seconds is without the glass roof?

I would think glass roof adds at most 100 extra lbs to the car? If so, I doubt that we would notice any material degradation in 0-60 but who knows. I was leaning towards not opting for glass roof but after test driving one without it, I am leaning towards checking this box. Big question is how expensive is this option...

I’m hoping there’s an option to get the better wheels as seen in the promos but not the summer tires. I’ll be driving this year round and need winter traction

I believe these are FE wheels?

That's a Dark Matter Gray GT.
It's been stated those are GT Performance wheels. These are the standard GT wheels, per Ford:

I really like the standard GT wheels. Hopefully they come with 245 (8" width) with all season tires.

What do we think is different about the GT performance verus the regular GT? It has all the same specs for motors, maybe heavier wiring to use more juice in the motors? It has to be more than software otherwise the range wouldn’t change between the 2.

Forged 20” wheels, magneride suspension.

Maybe a bit more aggressive “tune” for power output?

Differences: Magneride shocks, metal roof, 245 width stickier tires, non-aero wheels, different interior.

Range will definitely be affected by the tires and wheels. It's possible the electrical drain of the shocks also makes a difference.

That looks pretty darn nice. I might have to go worth that color and wheels right there come order time! I just wish the range on these could get pushed up a tad.
It’s the GT choice. Performance over range.

100 lbs would be considerable. Corvettes have had non steel hoods for a long time to lose some weight, maybe 10-20 lbs.

So if the lightest option GT performance is 3.5 second and 235 miles range, I wonder what the time and range would be with all the options put back on? 4 seconds and onky 200 miles range?

this might be difficult to spec out a GT Performance in a month or 2. Hope Ford gives us all the info on the option choices.

I was hoping Ford was conservative with 3.8 sec for GT and in real life we'd see 3.5 sec for GT and perhaps something lower for GT Performance (say 3.2 sec)? However, recent magazine tests for Premium seems to indicate they are at or even slower than advertised (e.g., 5.1 tested vs 4.8 sec advertised). I know we are splitting hairs after under 4 sec's.. but we are paying premium for GT or GT Performance and we'd love to see this matching, if not beating MY (3.5sec 1/4 under 12 sec).
