I was just over there a couple weeks ago, visited 4 Islands and did not see a single MME! I may have spotted an EV6 but wasn’t close enough to tell for sure?

I live in upcountry Hawaii island. I charge the car between 1 and 4pm. The pve system batteries are full by that time most of the year, (it’s fog season atm). That allows the batteries to top off after charging the car before sunset. I don’t have a commute so it doesn’t matter if I don’t reach target charge. Those hours are also in HELCO’s off peak time period.

Which Island? Shipping yourself or new from Ford? Mine took 12 weeks from the factory. 6 of those were sitting in San Diego waiting for Pasha to load it up. Otherwise, we’ve used Matson for previous vehicles shipped here.

We hide them from visitors. Ruins the “Hawaii” image. Or something. In the now 13 months I’ve had the car, I’ve yet to see another one save a single sighting of the Dealer’s FCTP car once.

I live on Oahu, however I can drive my MME over there to the Big Island on weekends =P There's nothing like carving those turns on Saddle Road at 70 MPH , through a fog bank! Just gotta watch out for Menehune crossing the highway at times methinks.

I bought the Mach-E in Portland (relatives living nearby), drove it for a week, then flew back home. Gonna ship it via Matson from Tacoma to Long Beach to Honolulu in a few weeks. Be here in Hawaii by second week in July. Then getting the ceramic tinting and ceramic coating on the paint (Modesta). Licensed in Oregon gonna apply for the temporary 12 month registration.
