So the MME AWD ER ended up with 342.93 miles before it ran out of juice, and the MME RWD ER clobbered 383.95 miles before giving up the ghost! Yes, I know, "your mileage may vary," but it's good to see this in a real-world controlled test. Only the Tesla Model 3 LR exceeded the MME RWD ER, but it doesn't look like it's going to be by much.

EDITED TO ADD: The Tesla Model 3 LR clocked in at 406.94 miles.

According to the chart in the test (don't know if it's right or not), it says the rated WLTP for the Tesla 3 LR is 381.52 miles and the rated WLTP for the MME RWD ER is 379.04 miles. So both exceeded the WLTP, but the Tesla 3 ER did so more than the MME RWD ER.

Wonder why there was no Tesla Model Y. That would be I'm the same class as the MME, and it would be interesting to see how it did comparatively.

Model Y is not for sale in Europe.

Similarly, we can't get the BMW iX3 that the article loved because that's Europe only for now, but when I looked at the upcoming pricing in the US, I could get two low-end MMEs for the price of one iX3, so it wouldn't be happening anyway. :)

Doing the math, I would probably see roughly 340mi at 100% charge. Absolutely doable real world, good to see more tests matching up with what I'm seeing (and it's climbing...first 1500mi or so it was cold).

That is an extremely interesting story and test. I can’t wait until we have enough options here in the USA to do similar tests.
