Hi,

With most of the orders being fulfilled and getting actual reviews from drivers, Could you all post the existing issues here so that it will be very beneficial to future owners who are taking deliveries soon.

Note #1: see also Missing Promised Features/Software Bugs which is more about future improvements and expected features, vs. things believed to be broken with possible fixes coming.

Issues so far reported:
Field Service Action No. 21B02- Software Calibration Update
Buzzing noise from dashboard/Electrical whine
Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power' followed by the 'Service Vehicle Soon' alert
Phone as key issues
Wifi connection issues
If you make that first post a wiki post we can contribute and keep them all right up front.

Two issues we have are Profile not pushing from the app to the car with name and pic which seems to be part of the software issues.

Also the windshield has a type streaks from the path of the wipers. Tried cleaning with microfiber cloth etc. doesn't help. Also from stickers/maybe suction cups and numbers you can read when looking from inside out. Also on the drivers side rear window you can see where there were stickers on the glass, it is clean but its like in the glass like the windshield...

NOTE: we did pickup the vehicle at the dealership when it was night time and did our own detail next day of the vehicle as we thought the window issue was from the dealership detailer. Dealer attempted to wax the windshield, it is a littler but still noticeable....

Is the intention "perceived wider issues" or "one-off issues"?

because we know there are some weird one-offs like any other vehicle vs. broader issues - e. g. "flaky Android Auto" seems broader but "door alignment that looks exactly the same as overextended" doesn't seem to be. just want to set expectations... the former seems useful while the latter does not. (something can start in the latter and get "promoted" to the former, which is why @Administrator 's link request matters.)

Someone said that rear ambient lighting isn’t working. Does that need to be added? Has anyone confirmed that the lights are there for the rear seats but for some reason not operational or is the physical hardware missing?

right now we don't really know if it's a bug or a promised-but-not-delivered feature. the line between those two is sometimes hard to call. nobody at Ford has said which of those two it is. some folks have wiring diagrams etc. and might be able to chime in with what is wired... that would tell us for sure if it's a bug that they aren't working or it's something that just isn't there (which would kind of be a Sync bug then since apparently the Sync screens show it).

that said it's a wiki so you can add it in to the list if you think it belongs here :)

I don't think it's not working, I think it is not there.

I asked a current owner to verify and he said in his MME the rear ambient lighting is working as promised. When I asked him which trim he had, he said he had a First Edition. Wondering if this is an issue with the Premium or other trims.

So far on my MME I have experienced few issues with the FordPass app.
Difficulty opening up, setting up/enabling the phone as a key and issuing a backup code. Had to delete the phone and start all over again. Second time was the charm.
I still though I am not 100% confident that the phone will work all the time. The access code to get in and the backup code is working now. No issues with the screen since I still trying to get familiar and configure it to my needs.
Garage door opening code/programming.
I am unsuccessful even after following the instructions on the screen for nearly 30 minutes.
No buzz from front screen.
I will pay attention on the wind noise.
I am having such a good time enjoying the vehicle. I tried charging it couple days ago.
I thought that you can program or set at what level you want the charging to stop but the vehicle will only do 100%.
My major issue as of now is the FordPass app. Garage door opening programming.
I would like to see how smooth the first update will unfold.

If you will turn on the driver reading light while the car is on and then turn off the car and walkaway for it to lock up, the light will continue to illuminate.

When you are inside the car where its not turned yet and try to turn off the reading light, it doesn't go off, instead you need to turn on the car to turn off the reading light.

I think its weird, no?

I think this is normal - my current cars behave the same - as they are not tied to any automatic turn off On logic (same thing as inside lights that turn on when doors open- some cars have Auto, OFF , ON settings and this behavior is same in ON setting)

So Joel......you had the chance to use Electrify America chargers. From what we heard from Ford the first 5 charges are free. I did not know that we are treated as members of EA network. Can you share your experience please. I am planning a trip and have EA network on my scheduled stops to my destination. Not any time soon but soon I hope.

We have confirmed FEs with no rear ambient lighting like chasing coral. He has FE.
