Yes my production was scheduled but when I contacted my dealer today they told me my production date and deliver date is TBD on their end.
My salesperson couldn't tell me when my vehicle would arrive until she literally saw it being driven off the hauler truck at the dealer's lot.

I ordered my Mach E last November. It arrived Apr. 26 but I didn't pick it up till May 1. They told me they didn't see a $2k rebate on the Vincent report. Am I SOL with the $5k reduction on my 23GTPE or I have to argue with Ford Motor corporate? I think I read you had to order Jan 30 or after and take delivery May 3.

2 weeks away from my GT going into production. Already had to get a signed order agreement that put the car at MSRP as my Ford reservation page shows a dealer markup of near $7k. Was already expecting I might have to walk away from the car if they play games on the pricing, so not feeling too confident in getting the $4k reduction. Looks like I might be reordering.... sigh...
Think positive. You're in better shape than me. If I had purchased 48 hrs later I would've canceled the order. I bought my GTPE May 1.

Well, crap! All I care about here is the new MSRP. I ordered on 11/25/22 and will not get the "incentive offer" when my car gets here in 3-4 weeks. Since there is no actual data about the specific LFP battery they'll be using, at least if it turns out that the battery is not good in the extreme Minnesota cold, I'll be OK with it. If it turns out to be as good or better than the current NMC battery, then I won't be happy.

I wonder what the turnaround will be on the

I would respectfully have to disagree with @macchiaz-o . My sense is that new orders for Standard Range vehicles will be the first with LFP batteries, not older orders already in production.

Also, I don't know where on the Window Sticker one would find any indication of the battery type. I can't find one. I think the assumption would be, for new orders, if you ordered a Standard Range vehicle, you get LFP battery, if an Extended Range, you get an NCM battery.

I certainly could be wrong, but this makes much more sense to me.
If I were in your shoes I probably would reorder and wait or see if a dealer will sell you one on the lot for the new MSRP. I bought my car May 1 and wouldn't have accepted it if I had the info 48 hrs earlier.

You should have a private offer from Ford that knocks down that price by $5900, assuming you ordered your car before January 30th when Ford previously cut prices. Also don't forget that your January 2023 order includes the $2100 BlueCruise. Did you also order AWD?

Edited to add: I see you did order an AWD model.
The order went in on January 2nd, so hopefully that private offer comes through before the mid-May delivery date.

For the folks applauding the LFP chemistry for the new SR packs because slightly faster predicted times 10-80 charging, supposed higher rated HP, and enhanced EPA range, this is what I have to say.

Expect worse acceleration, significantly slower charging at low temp, reduced driving dynamics due to increased weight. Also, expect that you might gain better battery longevity.

So a Premium AWD ER with blue cruise is $59,100 + $1,300 destination = $60,400 vs a $58,815 for a 2022 with similar features.

Coincidentally, the $1,585 price increase is solely driven by charging $2,100 for BC1.2 vs $600 for BC1.1.

Hopefully that doesn’t mean they’ll be charging that amount to upgrade us to BC1.2!!
Or to renew at the end of the trial 😕

Good luck with the ordering process from Ford. I’ve now ordered a Mach E and a Lightning and both orders have been disasters (two different dealers but Ford Corporate is worthless when it comes to supporting the customer when the order goes off the rails at the dealer level). I’ll never order a Ford again.

I’m personally done with Ford but if I was to buy one it would only be off the lot and never again through an order. I bought a Mach E off the lot and that process was smooth and no-nonsense (perhaps I just lucked out that time with a good dealer, who knows).
You know, both of my buys off the lot were actually relatively painless compared to what I’ve seen and heard of. First one, through Ford credit, was 2k ADM for a Select AWD, I still resent the ADM. Second one was only complicated by trade in. Both took under 2 hours to finalize. I guess I lucked out too.

Yikes, Blue Cruise subscription is going to cost $2,100 for three years? Ouch, I was expecting it to around $600. $700/year average seems rather high to me.
Apparently, Ford is eager to reclaim the 1.2 R&D costs a bit faster 😏.

I have a AWD SR Premium on Order. (3/11/2022…still waiting) It will come with the NCB.

They say the LFP version will have 47HP more in the AWD version.

What do you think?
Will it be enough?

Don’t know what to do with this order that should arrive in a few.

LFP takes the SR weight to about equal the ER. My ER driving dynamics are fine.

My First Edition looks like an absolute steal compared to later builds.
  • Thousands cheaper thanks to the tax credit
  • Free BC1.0 from Apr ‘22 to Dec’ 23
  • Park Assist and Hands Free LG
  • I’ve been saving thousands on fuel for over two years.
The only things I don’t have:
  • An extra 3kWh on the pack
  • BC1.2 - yet
  • FP/SYNC Frunk release - yet (well probably never)
But, yeah, if Ford asks for $2,100 to subscribe to BC1.2 come January 2024… LOLZ. Not gonna happen.

You have the same extra 3kwh as everyone, it just may be be allocated to better battery health. If its at the bottom end shouldnt we feel comfortable going down a bit lower in percentage? If was at the top buffer we could charge more comfortably?

Where did you see the weights listed?
