Kia EV9 is unveiled in all its glory and I think it looks fantastic! Love that they've retained buttons on the dashboard (ahem Ford, BMW, Rivian, Tesla).

No details on official specs until April. Hope Kia bumps up the range and battery pack from the initial leak a couple months ago.

- has a frunk + heat pump!
- same cargo space as a Telluride
- wired Android Auto/Car Play (not wireless)
- Advanced Highway Driving Assist (updated HDA2 + lidar) + Level 3 Highway Drive Pilot in some markets
- 230 kW max charging speed; 10-80% in 24 minutes for largest 99 kWh battery
- on sale in USA Q4 2023, early 2024

2024 EV9 RWD Standard; (215 hp, 258 lb-ft torque single motor)- 76.1 kwH battery, 0-60 in 8.2 secs, range = 223 miles

2024 EV9 RWD Long Range; (208 hp, 258 lb-ft torque single motor)- 99.8 kwH battery, 0-60 in 9.2 secs, range ~ 300 miles, ReAlLy SlOw o_O

2024 EV9 GT-Line; AWD dual motor (380 hp, 443 lb-ft torque)- 99.8kwH battery, 0-60 in 5 secs, towing capacity 5000 lbs, range = 260-270 miles

The "starting" price of 50 - 55K depending on the source... but I'll bet these will price like lightnings... the real street price for a typically optioned one will be north of $80K
Yeah! Unfortunately $80k+ seems to be the going price for a 3-row EV SUV these days. Will be curious to see the official specs when they're released in April.

You can't compare the two. It's apples to oranges :)
The Frunk is really small isn't it?
I added a photo of the frunk to the OP. It's better than the one in the EV6, but because it has a shelf it's not as deep as it could be. This is where the Mach-E wins. :p

That reviewer obviously doesn't work for Kia. No way. Totally objective reporting there.

"Wow! Look at the volume button! It's so amazing!"

They shouldn't have perfectly lined up all four wheels like that. It looks like it's been jacked and is up on blocks.

The tail lights are incredible! They light up and tell everyone behind you that you are driving a Kia! Nobody else has ever done anything like this! Ever!

Leaked EV9 specs from Kia survey a few months ago. We'll find out in April if these were true!

I know many cars look the same these days as it gets harder and harder to make a new body style, but this looks updated from something I have seen before.....

Can't put my finger on it......

oh yeah..

I love the Flex! Wish Ford hadn't killed it. Just imagine if we had an EV Flex.
