Great idea! I'll try that at my local dealer. Also, while the Tri-Coat White seems straight forward, it is hard to tell the actual Space White color. Looks different on my cell phone v. laptop. Seems like a matte white finish with a hint of silver.

The Star White looked a bit brighter, and it reminded me of a few years ago when I bought a Fusion and they offered "Pearl White" which was a softer white and "Platinum White" which was a brighter version and had an upcharge of a few hundred dollars (as the Star White does here). I saw both of those colors in person, and there was a noticeable difference to me anyway, and liked the Platinum White better so I went with the Star White as it appeared to be the brighter option on the web site.

I had no idea that the first 4000 were demos. I doubt that. No one knows what the actual breakdown of trim levels are.

Reserved a Select, but since Ford has said you can make changes at order time will likely order a Premium 300 with 300 miles of range since you can't get the big battery with the Select (at least as of right now).

However after researching more, I'll probably reverse that decision and go with AWD SR. In my part of the country, any road trip means 75-80 MPH driving for long distances (like Denver to Vegas). That's just not gonna be practical in a BEV, even with extended battery (too many stops and long charge times). So the Mach-e will be the "home" vehicle (where range doesn't matter). For any road trips over 150 miles, we'll just drive our Escape.
