I was trolling through my Ford account with my Mach E linked and came across the ability to check the maintenance plan for the vehicle. I read through the recommended first 10,000 mile service and thought it made sense till I got to the section that says my car is equipped with an engine oil monitor system which will dictate when the engine oil needs to be changed. Thought it amusing that Ford missed this.
Yesterday when signing the Bill of sale for my car at the dealer I noticed they had their standard $25 fee to fill the tank full of gas. I asked what it was for and they said, they fill the car with gas before delivery and that’s the cost, I gently reminded them it was electric and doesn’t take gas... they promptly removed the $25.
