On a sunny 78° day in April here in San Diego that inside glass roof was hot? I got my windshield tinted with the clear 70% IR and I don’t even wear my sunglasses when driving! I will get the roof tinted with the same film at Ceramic Pro

I noticed this as well. We were approaching the 90s. I had been driving for 250ish miles. Stopped for a break. Out of curiosity touched the glass. OW. Won't do that again. However, there was zero heat transfer into the cabin. I mean nothing. Really remarkable tech.
Burn your hand hot on the inside on a hot summer day.
"Doc, it hurts when I do this"

"Well, don't do that"
