After a full charge, to 100%, my Mach E, with the extended range battery only shows 287 miles; at the most, sometimes a few miles less. I test drove a Mustang with a full charge and it showed 305 miles. Has anyone had this issue? Ford says the 300 mile range is an estimate. That's not an answer!~

287 miles is a prediction based upon past driving patterns and your most recent drives are given greater weight. the range indicator is a guess, nothing more.
And what @timbop said is correct. There's far more info about this in that thread.

Really pretty simply right? What range you can expect depends primarily on two factors:
1. How warm/cold is it outside and
2. How you intend to drive it. Hard and fast on the interstate? Or slow and easy in town with a lot of stop and go.

In my experience (Premium MM-e 4X) from a full charge, here are the extremes: Expect about 200 miles of range when cold outside and driving on Interstate vs. 320 miles of range in warm weather and driving in town.
