In Canada here, I have a 2021 Premium SR RWD Mach e that I paid 60k -8k gov. Subsidiary (52k)

I pulled the trigger and ordered a RWD lyric for 70k with no subsidiary...

It's a 18k difference that will be really hard to justify.

Construction quality and range/perf will need to be great for me to keep the lyric.

I can't wait to see Alex on Autos interior space review comparison... We are a family of 5 with car seat at the back. Kid are getting holder and need seat that buckle up... I want as much width as possible at the back and so far it doesn't look like it's interior space is larger than the Mach we.
Agreed, and we don't know how much dealers will overcharge on the Lyriq yet as the MSRP is only suggested for GM dealers. Hoping the Q6 etron gets here soon...

Lyriq is just too small. I'm waiting for a full size SUV, perhaps Ford will build one after Lightning. If not, then Hummer EV looks like a good candidate.

I ordered a Lyriq as well. The amount of features for the price (and the potential luxury/cadillac ride) were compelling.

yes, agree on the features and luxury. Can't wait for new Mercedes comparison.

Initial thoughts from TFL on the Lyriq!

I never realized until watching this video how closely the Lyric's opening mechanism is similar to the MachE, only with a giant handle-shaped button.

Seems like everyone is copying the MME's door mechanism! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

I've heard some Cadillac dealers are getting very few 2023 Lyriq allocations (like 2).

This is going to be unobtainable for until early/mid 2023 - probably longer if folks try to order today.

I was the same, never realized that's how the door opened. I always thought it was a handle that would pop out or something.

The Mach-E has a far better implementation IMO.

+1 on the MME having a better door handle solution. I find the MME to be a fluid motion, the Caddy isn't.

The back seat space also looks like it's less than the Mach-E. This may be an illusion as I believe Roman from TFL is quite tall but I would hope there is a lot of legroom for a vehicle of that size.

A few observations

Overall a nice car... I hope Lincoln does a version of the MME by '25.
It steals borrows a lot of design queues from the MME which beat it to market by over a year.

Wow...I thought it's been in production since March?
